Yea gentrification is when rich people move into poor neighborhoods. If you are "legally homeless", you don't meet the threshhold criteria.

Unless I want to move into an apartment or house in the town I live in but can’t because it’s way too overpriced.

So your entire life is predicated on being accepted not as a human being, but as a member of the LBGT community?

Careful some on this thread like to report when they can’t debate even if they bring it up.

I actually don’t care if you became a teacher so long as the subject being taught does not include anything outside of school approved curriculum.

If a teacher needs to teach its students to "not kill them". That person should not be teaching.

That’s not true. Here is a chart showing the states with the least buying power vs the states with the most. Another search will tell you what each states minimum wage is.

Here is another one with a closer date to current

you can also notice how the states with higher minimum wages are going down.

It's that 'must' which is causing all the problems. You guys acquired a lifestyle, and now must peddle like crazy to keep it afloat.

The 'communism' they subscribe to at least. Which of course is an entirely fictitious fantasy communism .. which somehow, magically, doesn't involve any effort or lifestyle change on their part at all.

Wokeness is entirely a product of too much safety.

The coming 'unsafety' will silence a lot of it.

No, it's the process of people with limited means, living within them.

So how in hell could you gentrify an area you can perhaps just afford? You don't have that kind of buying power, Dear.

Only if they haven't done anything to offset it. Like establish a skill or qualification which will put them in the top 20% of starter salaries.

Yeah, I'm sorry. The minimum wage won't enable anyone to "buy a house", in many areas now.

Used to be possible, now is totally unrealistic.

It was only ever possible for minimum wage earners to buy in certain areas, so nothing has changed in that regard.

What HAS changed, is the outrageous sense of entitlement we now have ... believing we have some kind of birthright to live wherever we want, regardless of whether we can afford it.

Gentrification looks like a crappy, dangerous neighborhood with low property values turned into a nice, safe one with bookstores and coffee shops, along with much nicer, more valuable housing. It's a good thing.

I'm one that realizes that to change our society into a communistic one, as is the wet dream of your boy Prof Wolff, requires stealing the "means of production" from it's former owners. So I must conclude that you endorse theft, which makes you an evil person.
