Again that is only acting after the shooting

Makes far more sense to prevent them

Point is, many drugs are simply completely illegal. There are laws and rules and regulations designed to keep people safe. So someone who wants any sort of legal drug has to jump through hoops.

You keep changing that whole thing. First off, who said banning all arms, who said anything about being in your home, etc.

I'm tired of your "scorn" in that regard. My point stands. If you don't like it, too bad. But stop moving the goalpsosts.

There have been laws and regulations in America since before this country even existed.

There has never been a time when there weren't rules and regulations.

The NRA and gun loonies want to put all the blame of "rules" and "control" on the left/liberals, but that is, of course, a complete scam.

Then what do you suggest we do to stop this from happening?

Well, I get where you're coming from, but if I saw one of my own kind get fed to a wood chipper on slow feed, I just might rethink using a gun.

How about semiautomatic pistols? No use stopping with semiautomatics? Ban any gun which has multiple rounds? Or how about all those with only one round?

How many guns did Australia have when guns were banned? The US probably has at least twenty times that many with the near impossibility of getting rid of all weapons. Which leaves people like my wife and I defenseless against any thug with a ball bat or someone who refused to get rid of his weapons.

And it is this sort of comment that is acting like “white noise” drowning out the real signals that would indocate another mass shooter building a manifesto (waiting for accusations of racism from those who do not understand the term)

So a person who was killed with a chainsaw isn't as dead as a person killed with a firearm?

Why bother? We have so many more guns than Australia ever had that whether we have a hundred times as many or ten times as many makes little difference. Different country and an entirely different set of problems.

So the same rule. Chainsaws. Pencils. Machetes. Or anything else.

I'm wondering why you proposed a law that specifically said "with a gun".

In my eighty plus years, I have never seen a gun fired in anger or seen the results of a gun fired in anger in the US. However, I did come upon a fatal accident involving one of your road trains. Those monsters are an accident waiting to happen. You should ban them immediately.

I am not aware of a single regulation involving chainsaws. There are a few safety rules. However, you can violate any of them without breaking a law.

So: "Commit a murder and the trial will be one day, no appeals, execution immediately upon delivery of verdict."

No need to explicitly call out firearms.

To be clear, /sarc means "end sarcasm". Lighten up.

But yeah, frickin' Chairman Gavin Newsom let 737 murderers off and I'm ticked. At least obey the laws passed by the voters of the Peoples Republic of California! (PRC)

Who is the "we" you speak of?
I would suggest that Australia dramatically ease their citizenship requirements so fearful Americans can have a safe place to live.
