As long as they say the things you want to hear, right?

But if the injustice is police being subject to prosecutorial misconduct, or the 2nd amendment being trampled, and the political BS is how criminals on the left or working for the left evade justice then you don't want to hear about it, right?

Same thing that makes snarky Left wing hosts like Maddow, Pierce Morgan, Christ Matthew etc. to do the same thing. They are flat out liars and are incredibly partisan to the point that they literally just spin and debate and lie for their team.

Perfect example of why more and more people are "unplugging". This month was the first month without DirecTV and it was glorious. Saved $156 bucks per month an the only thing I miss are the movie channels.

Funny thing is the movie choices are much more available on Hulu and Netlix, I am just so damn lazy.

It is going to be fascinating to see how different the Left/Rigth argument (hopefullywe can finally call it a debate) once the media completely loses its control.

The media is currently flailing, they see their dropping imporanc and they onw what the outcome will be

Sort of how the misogynistic Left collectively treated Sarah Palin for years?

Hmmmm . . . are we talking about Barack Obama's qualifications again? You now the first term U.S. senator with zero meaningful national level experience and no leadership or management history who's only apparent qualifications for the president appeared in the form of a great speaking voice mouthing the words of dead statesmen and a politically correct skin tone. Because it does sound like you are talking about him again and the emotionally driven leftist who voted for him -- twice.

Actually, it's the right wing types who work the emotion centered perspective. You can't make a case for Trumpsterism without it. Appeals to ingorance, fear, xenpohobia and racisim are stock in trade. Celebrating deliberate obtuse ignorance is too. As is a constant stream of manufactured outrage all designed to promote a sense of powerlessness and resentment. That is Rush Limbaugh and his imitators' stock in trade.

Fact based arguments have little place in that world, so facts are usually only referred to when they suit the sales pitch. Otherwise, they're discarded altogether.

""It's always unwise to seek political advice from someone who gets paid $100 million a year to bounce a ball."

If Ms Ingraham thinks that is a mistake, what is her excuse for seeking political leadership from someone who gets play host on a reality tv show?

I understood perfectly your little ruse. Being an overpaid athlete somehow makes one a spokesman? It might help to learn proper English and have a little more education than a HS diploma.

    Bottom line.

LaBron is an American citizen first, ball player second, and as such, can voice an opinion.
Ingram has a perfect right to ignore LaBron and publicly deride it.
And the rest of us can point out she’s an ass.

Let’s see. First contract signed is guaranteed. Pretty sure if he hurt himself beyond ability to play he could pay for any college he wanted twice over.

    Your point is illogical.

I CAN make a case for voting FOR Trump without using emotion easily and I'm not even a Trump supporter:

He stands for legal immigration and in deporting illegals out, further protecting federal interests by building a wall.
As a businessman, he argued that he is best suited to deal with economic issues.
    Cut taxes.
Repeal of Obamacare as it is a mess, and replace it with a market-based alternative.
    Bring manufacturing jobs back.

Negative reasons to vote for Trump - i.e., why someone should vote against Hillary - would be:

Hillary is too corrupt to be president.
Hillary has no idea how to build jobs and no idea how to run the economy.
Hillary has been involved in too many scandals to be trusted.
Health issues make her unreliable as a president that can last even part of her term.
Far too tied to the people and interests of Wall Street to care about the people on Main Street.
Her warmongering talk about Syria would likely lead to a Hot War with Russia.

Essentially, it would mean thinking like an independent, but most, as Natty Bumpo would say, "hyper-partisans" can't think that way.

Y'know Fitz, I see posts such as the one you made and it points to an issue the Democrats have, one you may have unknowingly highlighted: They actually have NO real argument against Trump that doesn't ultimately find itself founded on emotions (i.e., We hate tRUmp!) but at the same time projects those same emotions onto Trump and his supporters. Without a full understanding as to why Trump won and what drives his supporters, the Dems have no real argument, no real counter to him. One cannot fight an enemy that one cannot - or in the case of the Democrats, WILL not - understand. At this point it looks like the only thing keeping the Democratic Party's hope afloat is the unwavering support of the press sans FOX.

The rest of us can point out that LaBron is an ass too. Funny how that got left out. I see what you did there.

LOL. Still pulling a straw man eh? Point to where I said I thought LeBron is anyone's spokeman? Don't like what he have to say? Change the channels. Ingraham is such a snowflake.

Trump is the last person from whom one should get political advice. He is good person from whom to get solid policy, though.
