Noting that something is not a viable option is not being an extremist, it is being a realist. It is no more possible to remove firearms from the current equation than it is to eliminate disease and put an end to all illnesses. Measles for example was supposedly eradicated from existence in the united states, and yet now it is coming back in force.
Given you're replying to the Thin Blue Line, I fully appreciate that you're not able to understand your extremism. Being an extremist isn't a positive thing. Just in case you didn't know!
True! Those darn teens and their knowledge of 90s comedies that make a mockery of American extremism. Shame on them!
Why not? It's on streaming. Teenages listen to many of the same songs their grandparents did when they were you. The Stones, Beatles and Jimi Hendrix are still popular, not to mention Pink Floyd for the 420 crowd.
TX is pretty effective when it comes to dealing with murder. It amazed me to learn she recorded this argument between those males.
I had two years during high school of free arms training. We had a range below the school woodshops. CA at that time was ran by Republicans and things were drastically different than today.
Considering that "many folks" believe in the training requirement, I wonder what penalties they would place on someone who did not take the training yet possessed a firearm. Does the original poster believe that a training requirement would be prudent? If "yes," what penalty should be placed on a violator?
I'm not asking about the case. I'm asking in general: are you suggesting that training could/should be used as a means to prevent 'idiots' from having access to firearms?
Surprise surprise.... gutless cowards needing a gun to stand up to one guy. Two guys needed to pull guns on one guy who was with his wife and kids? Total cowards.
Gee, I wonder why some of us think that a society where everyone is walking around with a gun isn't the brightest idea?
There isn't a state in this country where blood runs in the street. There are sections of cities where blood runs in the streets. Now, if everyone was packing, then we might see blood running in the streets of an entire state.
well the gun hating Brady bunch went state to state -when CCW was considered-claiming that if the state allowed CCWs blood would run in the streets. Most states changed their laws but guess what? the tales of death and gore by the brady bunch were lies-never happened.
This video shows how easily "Stand Your Ground" can be dangerously abused. idiots who want to act like tough guys can use the law to stick around for a fight, rather than walk away. and then someone dies. it should be ILLEGAL to fight. anyone who chooses to engage in a fight, rather than walk away, unless they have no reasonable choice but to defend themselves should be charged with Assault and Disorderly Conduct and Disurbing The Peace
Its time to enact a Federal law requiring the Duty to Retreat. Unless you are in your home, your car, or your regular place of business, it should be illegal to choose to stick around trouble so as to engage in violence, when you have a reasonable ability to simply walk away
