right up there with leaving $50 on her dresser on your way out and handing it to her first.

I'm so old I remember when $50 was 25 quid. When l.s.d meant pounds shillings and pence, not a hallucinogenic drug.

Holding Russia responsible is reasonable IF you can prove they have some involvement in the incident. Pretending that the qualification of origin of weapon is evidence of such is a bigger lie than the WMD in Iraq. The fact is you cannot. Sanctioning Russia is frankly ludicrous as this will only build a situation for war.
I will not go as far as to say Russia had no part, but I will also not assume they had any part. When it comes to Flight 655, I am not privy to all the details so I will not comment but to say I realise there are similarities, but circumstances are different.
If you’re going to blame Abbott and Bishop for making these assumptions then you have to blame half the world. BUT the fact is Australia has benefited from this (diplomatically) only a fool would place their own prejudices above the facts of what nations are doing and thinking.

With all due respect, I did state "Many times convincing them not to go to war just to name one. True it has made little difference as the present shows but they have tried."

You comment in analogy, cars are dangerous in 1950 because a man died in a car crash. Since spending billions to upgrade roads for safety, development of airbags, seatbelts and crumple zones in 64 years for safety, a man dies today in a car crash, nothing has been done since 1950.

Again much has been done, the present does not change the effort and the lives that could have been lost...
What else should it be??? After all it does nothing but bring all nations together to broker peace (supposedly) and attempt to force those belligerent nations to stop hostilities...
True, but did you know that??? Australia and many other nations did not and the side benefit is to remove a genocidal maniac and his regime. Imagine if when Hitler began marching nobody did anything because you believed everybody was being deceitful about the intentions of Germany? Again the present result does not change the effort. Was it based on oil??? Well if it was not for the oil the conflict would not have happened. In fact I would go so far as to say that NOBODY would have had anything to do with the Middle East if it was not for the oil...

But what if a well financed documentary, plus reality plus semi-reality science fiction film production company and/or cooperative and/or kibbutz was sent by the Ukraine to investigate the murder?

On that note..... can any of you assist me in finding the Australian dentist who wrote this?
