Dude you're going way off topic. The income tax was illegal and the government lied. When you pay over 40 cents a gallon federal tax on gasoline, federal taxes on the oil and tires for your car - and then there are hundreds of other taxes, it just isn't justifiable. You're trying to avoid an uncomfortable fact. You believe in God. You believe in a government god, but you believe in God.

Income tax is not illegal. That old saw has been around a LONG time. If it were illegal, it would be the largest single issue we've faced in decades. It would be catastrophic.

Gasoline tax is how we pay for roads - how does that not make sense? That seems like one of the more logical taxes we have!

Government is "god"? You have a SERIOUSLY deranged idea of what god is.

So will all liberty loving people.

Ask any gay or woman. Even in the vile mainstream religions.

Is it any wonder that atheism is the fastest growing demographic?

Not being an atheist, I would have little respect for them if they were not opening atheist churches.

Except that Eve was an afterthought to stupid Yahweh who forgot that to reproduce, it takes a man and a woman.

The host represents an adult Jesus and the wine his blood, so it is a short hop to eating babies whrn your mind is already compromised and corrupted by your religion.

    ??

Yahweh, the prick, demanded that his son de sacrificed to gain our forgiveness for his unjust condemnation, so your Yahweh is no better than a Sun god. Worse in fact as no Sun god ever demanded a sacrifice.

I disagree with your last. Non-violence is a great way to bring authorities that oppress a nation to it's knees. Ghandy said something like that but I could not easily find it.

Are the images you see in this link your idea of god creating us in his image?

Most Christian just run away because they cannot justify their beliefs when compared to the evidence.

I will not agree with you on this point buddy, only because of the enforcement and granting of rights.

Let's get specific thought to make sure I understand you. Can you give a couple of examples?

I do think the no divorce for women law might be what you are talking about, but cannot hink of any other right or issue that infers, confers what we call rights.

We are born with a moral compass. Baby experiments have proven it.

We default to cooperation and doing good to others as that is the best survival strategy. It is what our selfish gene bids us do.

Where have you been for 5,000 years?

You showed intelligence by accepting what I put, then pop up with this idiocy.

I will give you the chance to make your case though.

Name any modern state that has cannibalism. Give us the numbers.

    More complaining.

As I've asked before, if you want to condemn something about our government, then propose how it could be improved.

That amendment has several parts. So, it's only a partial help.

You really need to state how you would resolve the hole left by deleting what you want to delete. For example, if you want to kill the ability to borrow or tax or whatever, you need to explain how the US would work under that proposal.

Otherwise, you're just back to complaining.

My U.S. Congressman, after hearing years of the information presented in my last two posts from me (and many others) authored the most researched proposed legislation in U.S. history. Had it not been for the Clintons using Donald Trump to flip the right, an idea was on the table. I don't know whether I would have ultimately backed it; however, it would have eliminated the IRS and the income tax:

You can't figure out what FairTax actually does by flashing a very few big numbers in someone's face.

FairTax cuts the tax of the wealthy significatly.

The result is that someone else has to pay more taxes in order to meet the equal revenue point.

Also, your flash cards show FairTax with a wide range of tax rates. But, FairTax has usually been flat. And, it says nothing about corporate tax rates.

Some of the sales jobs people give for FairTax "solve" that problem by suggesting we didn't need that revenue anyway, so not collecting it is OK. But, that is NOT the way it works, obviously. But, that's not a comparison of revenue collection methods - that's a statement about the spending side. And, we can just as easily cut our spending TODAY. It's not dependent on the method of raising revenue.

Any comparison has to be revenue neutral.

They say that the IRS is no longer needed. But, that assumes that congress will no longer be able to incent various activities by offering tax breaks. And, that is a highly efficient method of inreasing behaviors we want to have happen. The other methods are law, regulation, etc.- also with their downsides.

Also, the IRS is how we choose to not collect taxes from those who have little income and to determine whether social safetynet support of various types is warranted. If you kill the IRS, how do you plan to determine who needs help and who doesn't?

I didn't see solutions for these and other issues among your flash cards.
