What caused the problem was the Immigration Act of 1965 that was passed and signed into law on lies. But the real problem is when any President tried to enforce the nation's immigration laws that are already on the books or secure our borders they were called racist. Any time a President upholds his oath of office and enforces our immigration laws he will be called a racist. Any time Congress tries to pass immigration policies that secures our borders and keeps undesirable (criminals) wannabe immigrants out and protect Americans jobs and protects America's culture, customs, traditions, language, history and ethnic makeup of the country, they will be called racist. President Trump is being called a racists so he must be upholding the oath of President and defending the Constitution and enforcing the laws of the land.
It's no secret that the old American car companies don't have the same margins of the new car companies. That's why the tariffs tipped them over. Trumps approach to the border closing has the same problem as his tariffs. You don't sell a car until you have all the parts.
