Their countries are clean and prosperous with a high standard of living and excellent healthcare. That's not exactly Cuba or China or Venezuela.
The wonderful thing about the US is that if a state wants to do that kinda thing, there's nothing stopping them. Texas can be a capitalist state, California can be communist, and Hawaii can be socialist. Whatever the residents of your state want, you have a state constitution and state government to make that happen. Let us know how it goes!
You can't even justify your own argument. Here you are denying that Democrats are going to socialism, but all you're doing is justifying socialism. As you point out, you find it ridiculous that American's would accuse the left of socialism...but all YOU'RE doing is defending it. Happy to cite your previous posts to clear up your confusion. What will be your next deflection...?
Once again, you have deflected. You denied that the left wing is turning to socialism YET are justifying socialism while ignoring your previous remarks.
Re-read my post. You previously denied that the left was turning to socialism, yet you have done nothing but spew propaganda FOR socialism. If you are a socialist, that's fine. Just admit it. Just don't deny the left is heading that way...lol
Socialism is a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole. No one is advocating that.
Thanks for your definition. That however was not what I said. I was pointing out your hypocrisy. I'll cite again. If you're still this confused upon your next reply, I will cite your posts once again.
Sanders is a communist and has been one all his life. In a world where a man can decide he's a girl and win the women's events in track and field I suppose Sanders can elect to be something more benign sounding but he's still what he's always been. Sanders is like all the other Never Trumpers, he wouldn't recognize a fair election if it bit him on the ass which is actually what pretty much what happened.
Could you provide examples of what Sanders has actually done that makes him a communist? And for the record, I am in no way shape or form a supporter of anything Sanders
None of those countries are Socialist. They're Social Democracies. In social democracy entrepreneurs own the industries just like they would in a standard capitalist economy. In socialism the workers own them instead which is very different.
WE, the USA, are not doing that badly, and we are a Social Democracy; not in the same way as the nations above but very much a Social Democracy just the same.
Bulshit. To begin socialism and communism are the same, only socialism still has a government and communism is revolutionary in nature and practice. The Constitution and the Declaration both mandate laws and and a respect for liberty which would be incompatible with socialism and impossible with communism Also, the Constitution says that no state can mint it's own coinage and without control of their money a state cannot have a different economic system than everybody else Finally, all states in the US are under the Uniform Commercial Code and have been since 1896 The States in the USA are far from the sovereign entities you seem to think they are.
Your definition is incorrect. We are a republic that elects or appoints its representatives by democratic procedures.

I am talking about the practice of how our Republic works. Federalism merely refers to the division of powers between the national and state governments, with interpretation of the Constitution reducing the state governments to a subordinate position to the national government. Many on the far right and many Trumpers agree with your incorrect understanding of our government.
No need to be snarky and I apologize if I came off that way, everyone's entitled to a good rant once in a while and as such that that was better than most.
