I comprehend just fine. But I have come across a certain sort of very angry atheist like the one who grew infuriated and red in the face when someone offered a "God Bless You" when he sneezed. I find this interesting and like to speculate on what can cause this.
I am referring to the world Beckett imagines. The majority (of whatever belief) are just clods. I am interested in what thoughtful people say.
This is what happens. People like you take an extremist and make him rule. Saying God bless you when someone sneezes is just a figure of speech and nothing else. I know a Christian who thinks I have no soul because I don’t believe in the supernatural. That’s the other extreme
I don't believe in Bigfoot but I don't hangout on Bigfoot sites trying to prove everyone wrong, I simply find better things to do with my time. Atheists, many of them, have a mission to prove God wrong, they are obsessed with it and you can find many of them here. They usually make the most religions threads and replies.
You would find that if bigfootists tried to tell other people who to marry, who to love, how to live etc that antibigfootists would be all over those sites.
You seem to have no problem with the LBGT crowd setting the rules for the rest of us though do you? Its ok for them to tell us what should and should not be allowed huh?
Same with them blacks and women.....having the nerve to tell people they shouldn’t be discriminated against
Setting aside for the moment the dubious idea of understanding God, any religion that can be understood without God isn't worth understanding.
You found us out...we are on a mission and we are obsessed. You’re right we don’t have better things to do with our time like you lol Usually atheists reply a lot because we are the ones who don’t want religion imposed on us.
I think it’s funny so don’t speak for others And speaking of childish remarks....I find your comment that atheists can’t enjoy what Christians have the epitome of childish. Those poor Jews and Muslims,,,so unhappy because they’re not having a blast like the Christians
Yes Beckett was angry, he was angry because he had lost his faith in god as a loving god, he hated the human condition, he hated what god had created, the horrors of WW1 and WW2, his experiences as part of the french resistance. Read the Theology of Beckett, it is very interesting.
