    True.

I don't want to be part of the EU.

Yeah I've heard of some others as well. They are like think tanks and such and one as I recall was author for PNAC and that which actually was a blueprint for various wars like Iraq and such and other agendas as well but it turns out, things are coming to pass exactly like they planned! You know who else was in the strategy? Iran.

I haven't researched much into these agendas and that which is why I'm not actually arguing that stuff yet.

I appreciate the likes for my post about Iran. I was beginning to think nobody noticed. I think people think I'm a bell ringing conspiracy theorist nutter for so much as even suggesting that war with Iran is around the corner.

War with Iran is more certain than that hurricane about to hit the US east coast.

By standing up to the US wanting to use British areas for their logistical corridor, can we figure the UK won't be dragging themselves into the Iran cluster(*)(*)(*)(*) that is about to ensue, unlike they decided for Iraq?

I should imagine it has more to do with the lease being up in 2016, that they are battling out a better contract ? Or am I being to cynical ? ;-)

That lease is very iffy anyway ............. The Island should rightfully have been given back to the Islanders a few years ago, a very sad story.

It would also be very unpopular at home .............

    I have no idea.

We don't get asked or consulted.

    The beauty of democracy, eh?

    We do get ignored though.

    Often.

My own feeling would be that if Cameron dragged us in, it would lead to his party being unelectable, for about 20yrs or so.

He has to be careful, as he could already be the PM that was in office, on the day the union ended.

And that would not look good for him either.

Yes. Britons are sick of seeing the daily toll of dead soldiers from a war which seems to have no apparent goal, no possibility of being won and no realistic exit strategy. Sadly, though, I believe that if there is a conflict over Iran, whichever government is in power at the time will bow to US pressure. We won't get a look in and it'll be another of Cameron's "difficult decisions" which he uses as an excuse for everything.

Obama said that 'he' would not attack Iran, with Israel, if Isael did, unless Iran hit out at US 'interests' ....whish is exactly what Iran would have done since the Middle East and especially her vunerable Oil installations are all of 'interest' to the US.

But it is so iffy ...........the US is OK with her Canadian oil and so on, Europe isn't we need the Oil from the Middle East plus the whole World economy would crash down like a pack of cards if the Middle Eastern Oil were hit ........... All Europeans Heads of State will be crazy not to be heading ths one off. It will be the end of life as we know it. Madness utter utter madness.

    No.

The United States signed up for this. Hell, international law is mostly a US venture anyway - used to enforce US interests around the world.

Personally I think we should have a Confederate world government. One where the international government is something like what the US was intended to be to the states.

Well, good, he should go for it then.

It means the Tories will be unelectable for the next two decades.

He should spend the next two years patronising Scots as well.

It will assist in our aim to be free of future Tory Gov's.....forever.

Obama says a lot of lies when he tries to sucker the saps into being fooled twice.

Obama will be attacking personally, himself, irrespective of what Israel does or doesn't do, and irrespective of what Iran does or doesn't do.

Protecting US interests isn't the goal. Curbing Iran's nuclear ambitions isn't the goal. Promoting stability in the region isn't the goal.

There is one goal and one goal only: War with Iran.

Yes and why? For the tiny state...from afar.

    And why?

Because for some decades now, the US has been usurped by their agents.

7500 of them in AIPAC alone.

You're right, and I'm sure this is part of the reason.. Israel are telling their bulldog to sic another foe..

But also, you have the various oil companies and offense contractors and pretty much the broader military industrial complex that want war so as to get paid and are twisting his bollocks.. They're probably impatient by now waiting for this vote, considering they've got an equally firm grasp on the Romney bag. But still January is even further away.

There's not a strong enough word, is there? LMAO at least I can't say you don't lack passion.

The main thing I remember about the conservatives was Cameron giving his little speech about how we all have to "tighten our belts" in these coming hard economic times, from the porch of No. 10, just before he turned around to head inside for his conservative party fundraiser banquet in which they passed around their caviar and fancy bottles of champagne.

The major corps do not give a crap about the environment, due to pure greed, their god is 'money', and they think short term.

The rapture mob do not give a crap about it, because they think they are going to 'heaven' any time soon, therefore, why would they care about a real planet, when they can concentrate all their efforts on a delusion?

The first lot are merely greedy.

    The second are merely deluded.

The first lot exploit the dumb delusions of the second lot.
