    Obama never wanted to fight in iraq. He said we should be in Afghanistan lol.

    He basically ignored the Iraqis for years and pulled out of iraq. Then isis came to town and he downplayed them...until he couldnt any more and sent troops back in.

    Never mind his red line in syria.

    The Arab Spring was instigated by people living in Morocco and Algeria over poverty and repressive regimes... But, you can claim that the US was leading it since that is what the US does is destabilize countries for its own benefit and has for over one hundred and seventy five years...The policy of divide and conquer is the piecework of Machiavellian politics and has been around since the civilizations created by humans....

    If the US was the only nation fighting ISIS I could see giving the US credit yet the queen of battle is infantry and US infantry did not do the dirty work of cleaning ISIS territories and cities..

    Never mind that 90% of the work was done before he came along, and he has been busy playing footsie with the Russians and sending mixed signals regarding Syria for two years.

    Oh, and since ISIS is not a state entity, but a terrorist organization, what makes you think it's over? There is plenty of evidence to the contrary.

    Meanwhile Trump is busy trying to cede territory in another country to Isreal, as if he had any say over the matter.

    The world was much more stable in 2015 than it is now. With Russia and China on the march and the United States quitting its role as world leader (mainly because of the incompetence, stupidity and corruption of its current leaders), the counterweight that has supported world peace for 75 years is crumbling.

    He pulled out of Iraq (calling it more peaceful and stable) to say he withdrew from Iraq and "ended" the war.

    Then he ignored ISIS as it took over MOST of Iraq as well as Syria. It was here he called them the JV team.

    And only after he couldn't ignore ISIS anymore did he deploy troops BACK into Iraq to fight for the same land again, and then we went into Syria.

    Thats what I mean by wouldn't fight ISIS.

    Ah, so when you said “he wouldn’t fight ISIS” you really meant that he would and did fight ISIS? So literally the exact opposite of what you said? Nice try at moving goalposts, but you said what you said. And what you said was objectively a lie.

    BTW, why did Bush sign the SOFA agreement that mandated the withdrawal of US forces by 2011?

    The Iraqi PM told Oblama no troops were allowed back into Iraq at the numbers needed..If the Iraqi troops had not thrown down their weapons and ran from ISIL then the outcome would have been clearing up ISIL forces with no help from US or any other nation, yet that was not the case...We had to save Iraq from themselves...
