NK walked away from peace talks and reopened their test site. Trump rewarded them today by removing sanctions.

And for over two years now U.S. Marines have been conducting WW ll style amphibious training assaults against heavily defended beachheads in the Mariana Islands and in Japan.

I'm aware of a half dozen if these amphibious training assault that have taken place over the past couple of years and I'm sure there were more that I'm not aware of.

 

What heavily defended beachhead? The islands would get multiple visits from cruise missiles and bunker buster bombs before the Marines ever arrived.

These islands aren’t Iwo Jima. They are made out of dredged sand and concrete. You can’t exactly put deep bunker complexes on them.
