Nonsense, I posted a list of actual Muslim crimes against Christians from a dozen nations, that makes the source automatically a 'hate site'? Nice little game you've going on there........as for me, I am not going to remain silent while your brethren daily persecute Christians.

    Islam only scares the insecure

tell this to the hundreds of Nigerian girls who were kidnapped and may be sold into slavery by Muslim terrorists.

tell this to the three hundred innocent Nigerian civilians that were murdered yesterday by Muslim terrorists.

What should make anyone with integrity vomit is Muslims teaching little kids that Jews are apes and pigs.

OK, and victims of Muslim aggression would call you a hypocrite, get your head out of the sand. Here's a little list for your education, 22,900 Muslim terror acts since 9/11 and counting: http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/Pages/TheList.htm Standing by for Muslim apologists to call this a 'hate site' while ignoring the facts listed there.

Show me a list like I posted above since 9/11 for Christians or retract. And please stop making things up, huh? It doesn't help your cause, whatever that is. It certainly isn't truth. You want to believe in the multi-cultural myth that all religions and cultures are the same, go ahead, I don't.

What about it OJLeb, any comment? Are the newspapers that report on these crimes 'hate sites'?

Seems you missed the context of my point. Needless to say it will be Muslims that faciltate the roles of security, emergency services, families, and angry community that will seek to address and correct these incidents. Islam as an ideology is not defined by a tiny minority - especially the Islam present in the west that has no connection to these incidents, but which I don't doubt you seek to attack.

Were those the only choices? Did no one abstain from voting for terrorists? Your worldview is dangerously simplistic and lacking in nuance.

Where did the Crusaders come from? Who recorded themselves as practicing genocide in the Bronze Age? Violence is not unique to Islam. Atheists such as Hitler and Stalin have been known to be fairly brutal as well. Perhaps violence is a human trait rather than a religious one. Are you advocating removal of humanity to stop violence?

Except it isn't a tiny minority that hold extreme views. 85% of Egyptian Muslims think 'apostates' should be killed.

As a Sudanese Anglican bishop once said, when Islam is the minority (US), they are peaceful and hardworking, when they have population parity (Nigeria), they are aggressive, and when they are the majority (Iran), they will kill you.

    - - - Updated - - -

Actually, the simplistic view is that Islam is a peaceful religion with a few bad eggs. Did Bin Laden do anything the 'prophet' didn't do? I propose that anyone who holds the murderous, pedophile founder of Islam as the 'perfect man' is part of the problem.

I pray the Nigerian girls are freed, and that the animals who kidnapped them get what they deserve.

A legitimate counter offensive against Muslim aggression. I wish it had been more successful. What were the Muslims doing in Spain anyway? Like all wars, there were abuses.

More like an illegitimate war based on collective punishment and theft.

Who are Iranians killing? They've had a strong patriotic Jewish minority for years. In fact Iranian Jews have only left in increasing numbers more recently because of economic pressures. I don't know who they're killing based on being of a different religious order.

What??!! Iran is all about persecuting differing beliefs, this is on Jewish persecution, http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2237138/posts Note since 1979 the Jewish population has dropped from 80,000 to 20,000. Have you not heard Iran promising to destroy Israel?

Here is an article from the New York Times on Iran's persecution of Christians, http://www.nytimes.com/2014/03/15/opinion/irans-oppressed-christians.html?_r=0

The free republic is in no way a reliable source of information.

These numbers are attributed to economic forces as I explained.

This article isnt very compelling. Iran has half a million christians and only 300 people were arrested in 2010 for crimes relating to christianity? the article doesnt show religious persecution based on Islamic values you describe - its attributes the overall force being political. the article says, eg - 'Tehran’s ruling ayatollahs see the trend [of conversions] as foreign meddling meant to undermine the regime.'

it seems that the question was, who are they KILLING, not who they are talking threateningly about.

    Here you go, http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wor...465/Hanged-for-being-a-Christian-in-Iran.html

The killings aside, is your position that persecution other than death is OK? The South African apartheid regime didn't kill all that many people, but they, like Islam, had an oppressive system in place treating the 'wrong' groups as inferior.

Ad hominem, nothing personal, but I don't consider you a reliable source of information either. Address the facts raised in my link, if you can.

Wrong, did you even read the link?

"Jews who apply for a passport to travel abroad must do so in a special bureau and are immediately put under surveillance. The government does not generally allow all members of a family to travel abroad at the same time to prevent Jewish emigration. Again, the Jews live under the status of dhimmi, with the restrictions im posed on religious minorities. Jewish leaders fear government reprisals if they draw attention to official mistreatment of their community."

Are you even aware of the 'official mistreatment' mentioned? Would you want to live like that?

Right, the Islamofascists are such victims. Putin excuses his actions as defensive (so did Hitler), does that make it right?

From the preanble of the Constitution of Iran.

With due attention to the Islamic content of the Iranian Revolution, the Constitution provides the necessary basis for ensuring the continuation of the Revolution at home and abroad. In particular, in the development of international relations, the Constitution will strive with other Islamic and popular movements to prepare the way for the formation of a single world community (in accordance with the Koranic verse "This your community is a single community, and I am your Lord, so worship Me" [21:92]), and to assure the continuation of the struggle for the liberation of all deprived and oppressed peoples in the world.

    An Ideological Army
In the formation and equipping of the country's defence forces, due attention must be paid to faith and ideology as the basic criteria. Accordingly, the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps are to be organized in conformity with this goal, and they will be responsible not only for guarding and preserving the frontiers of the country, but also for fulfilling the ideological mission of jihad in God's way; that is, extending the sovereignty of God's law throughout the world (this is in accordance with the Koranic verse "Prepare against them whatever force you are able to muster, and strings of horses, striking fear into the enemy of God and your enemy, and others besides them" [8:60]).

Exactly. In radical Islam, not only is there no separation of church and state (as found in St. Augustine's City of God/City of Man analogy), the 'church' IS the state. To them, atheists are just as much 'the enemy of God' as Christians are. Your post also illustrates how radical Islam is simply following the Koran, and the word and deed of the 'Prophet', I might add.

no more or less legitimate than the Christian-ization of the American Indians or the Mayans in Mexico. Winners get to pick their religion, I guess.

Look, these are all battles for civilizations. You can't say one struggle is good and another is bad. You've got a shaky argument anyway if you have to go back centuries to a gray area like the Crusades to make a pathetic attempt at moral equivalency with radical Islam.

Islam is seven centuries younger than Christianity. Seven centuries ago Christianity was a pretty scary proposition.
