Your point? Cherry picking quotes just makes you look like a tool, not much else I'm afraid to tell you.

Seeing that it's based in the Arabian desert I fail to see its appeal to non-Arabs. It's as bad as reading the Bible blab on and on about Israel and Jerusalem. After one page I'm ready to toss them in the trash can.

This may be true but he is entirely correct in what he said. The biggest Islamic country is Indonesia, and Islam spread through South East Asia without any warfare at all.

I'm well aware of that. It just shows how many crazy people there are in the world. Once the powerful converted they forced everyone else to follow suit.

You think all Muslims are crazy? That's a stupid belief, and just that - a belief.

    "Forced"? Really? Prove it.

Modern trends are not the same as historical conversion processes which you describe above. Furthermore the overwhelming majority of Indonesians, ie Muslims, do not support these policies so what is your point?

All religious people are crazy. Muslims are just a subset.

The fact that other people can't freely practice their religious beliefs in Indonesian is sufficient proof that people are being forced to practice Islam. Since it's a religion that demands public display of compliance people have to go through the visible motions to avoid persecution. The crazies demand compliance under threat of force.

We have the same thing here by forcing people to say the Pledge of Allegiance.

So that begs the question of apostasy:

There is a video in another thread of an apostate getting his head sawed off with a knife.

Please elaborate, or more specifically, define "crazy". Religious people are not mentally unsound - ignorant and delusional maybe, but not 'crazy.'

Since when? No, what you sighted are a few examples of radicals attempting to stomp on others rights. Those rights are still available to Indonesians however.

BAHAHA! No it isn't. That's like saying, because there is a thief in New York, all New Yorkers are thieves. Sufficient my ass.

    Total nonsense.

But the crazies are tiny group of people.

    Another story.

Are you asserting that apostasy has been entirely and consistently supported by every segment of Islam and by all Muslims? Pure garbage.

    Ask some non-Arab Muslims.

Seeing as how non-Arabs make up majority of the Ummah, and non-Arabs are constantly converting to Islam, that would hint that Islam is not an Arab religion.

What gives you this idea, anyway? Just because it was started in Arabia?

So then is democracy only for Greeks? Capitalism only for the Scottish?

Can you describe to me one event where Muhammad, peace be upon him, ordered somebody dead for apostasy? Or any Quran verses which states apostasy is worthy of capital punishment.

A hint for future reference, anti-Islamic websites are not a great source for a valid argument.

Religious people are not ignorant. They are delusional and crazy. They can function very well in other aspects of their lives. But they are crazy for believing in silly religious fairy tales and their associated imaginary characters.

You obviously dont know what ignorant means. Please define crazy because your incessant use of it seems to further indicate you dont actually know much about human psychology, politics and religion in the real world.

Nobody can be forced to follow Islam. One can be a Muslim by believing the Shahada in their heart. Otherwise, they are not Muslims.

Are you saying that people in Saudi Arabia are free to choose their religions?

People in Saudi Arabia are not even free to talk to certain people... Please don't mention the US-backed Saudi Regime, okay. They are illegitimate kufar.

But Saudi Arabia does not force people to convert to Islam.

Everybody always mentions Saudi.... That is too easy on your part. Try a bit harder.

Susan Carland is a top lady. I greatly respect her and her very intellectual husband Waleed Aly who wrote a fantastic book, People Like Us in 2007.

I didn't say it was supported universally, but then those not supporting it would not be true believers, would they.

Are you saying you can just pick and choose what you want to believe from the Qur'an?
