You don't agree that Israel should accept these refugees? Why not?

Doesn't really matter what I want, does it? In the US and Europe diversity is our greatest strength, and Jews who live in these areas are very supportive of immigration from Africa, the Middle East, and the Hispanic world. Why would Israel not support the same policies in their country? It makes every country better.

So there's 33 other countries with a higher population than Israel? The Netherlands has a higher population density and they have taken in many, many refugees from the Middle East. I don't think this is a very valid excuse for Israel not to do their part. How much of an effect will those 40,000 people have?

Israel's area is 8,500 sq. miles.

that's a population density of 1,029 persons per sq. miles.

the USA is 90 persons per sq. miles.

The Netherlands has a higher population density than Israel. So do over 30 other countries.

 

Netherlands is twice as big as Israel and has a much higher percentage of liveable land, plus much more fresh water.

It's cruel to deport an illegal back to their home country, but you defend Israel deporting 40,000 people to countries where they aren't even citizens.

 

You haven't maybe, but plenty of Jews have in the US and Europe. Find me a group that advocates for the same thing in Israel.
