It's "heartless and cruel". In Israel, though, they are just doing it because they don't have enough land and resources, apparently.

Israel is 8,500 sq. mi.

if they dont qualify for asylum, see if they can fulfill a foreign labor job.

if they can't do that, see if they can fulfill some other labor need.

if they still can't do that, review them to remove folks with a criminal history first.

then once they are gone, review Israel's immigration forecasts and allow folks in accordingly.

Again, doesn't matter. Netherlands has a higher population density than Israel. So do over 30 other countries. Why can't Israel spare an additional 40,000 people? What effect will that have on density, anyway? 40,000 out of nearly 9 million is nothing. They can find a way.

 

Is Israel not allowing more Jews to come to Israel because of a land shortage? I haven't heard about that.

Israel has an active policy to attempt to get as many Jews to immigrate to their country as possible. But these 40.000 is like... they're black and not Jewish = a problem.

I'm so surprized by this.....

 

Israel hasn't indicated that they plan on stopping Jewish "right to return" because of a shortage of land, resources, or too high of a population density. This implies that they still have room for people.

Do they really need 80% of their population to be Jewish, anyway? Seriously, who cares? Aren't their values what really matters? Africans and Arabs should be able to freely migrate to Israel and become Israelis and carry forward their culture.

 

Right. Ron is acting like the only thing keeping Israel from taking on tens of thousands of Africans is a lack of land, but they always have room for more Jews to move to Israel. I don't think they have a shortage of land at all.

he is one person.

95% of the staff are not Jews.
