You must like to watch brawling old people. That's what you are in for with that solution!

Oh horse pucky. The law's fine <COMMENTS EDITED>

After Democrats forced undemocratic changes in voting procedures that invited voting fraud combined with lying to enable vote counting irregularities, they managed to steal the blue city of Atlanta by a wide enough margin to steal the entire state for Biden, steal two Senate seats that resulted in a 50/50 tie in the upper house.

The US constitution charges State Legislatures with election law, and these reforms restore badly needed order to the distribution of absentee ballots which are more easily used to steal votes.

The measure restores control over election administration to the democratically elected State Legislature including the option to appoint the chair of the election board and remove and replace county election officials who ran amuck in the questionavble 2020 election.

The law has always banned campaigning within 150 feet of polling places, which the Warnock campaign circumvented by pretending they were "were merely giving water to voters." They can still give water to voters that are more than a 150 feet from the polling place.

It will be interesting to see what happens to GA vote totals once it's just a bit for difficult for Democrats to cheat.

The ONLY ones cheating are Republicans.

I think Georgia is being stupid with all this nonsense. Why is no other state going through the crap they are going through? I havn't been following this closely, but it seems republicans are being stupid about this. I smell political corruption. Maybe there is something to fraud claims, but they are certainly going about finding a solution in a stupid way. Look at how other states are running their elections and copy that.

But, like I said, I don't have all the details on this and havn't been following closely. I'm just making a snap judgement.

There was no fraud. Two recounts. Signature verification. This law has nothing to do with fraud. That's the problem.

Other states, as well, have suppressive bills awaiting votes.

yeah, I'm not a fan of putting up restrictions to vote. There has to be better ways to ensure the integrity of elections. If no fraud is being found though, it seems the integrity of the elections are already intact, so there are no need for further laws.

Another reason to despise politics and politicians. I would rather lose and know every American got their vote than win when the nation is not fully represented. The way to win is by having the better stance on issues, not through technicalities and tricks.

That's how all voter "suppression" works. It only suppresses those that see themselves as "victims".
    and what about the impatient?

So, now it's their fault because they are being targeted for suppression?

I'm kinda old and I view voting as a sort of social event and responsibility. My state must have it figured out because I don't encounter long lines.

No it's their fault for buying into the Marxist lie they are victims and are singled out when all voter laws apply equally regardless of skin color or even political persuasion.

They are being singled out because of their skin color and political persuasion. They aren't removing polling places EVERYWHERE.

The whole point is to make it as inconvenient as possible so people won't bother to vote.

Polling Places in Black Communities Continue to Close Ahead of November Elections

Polling places have often been used as political tools to shape the outcome of elections. Officials can reduce the voter participation of certain groups by eliminating polling places, and increase participation in other groups by placing precincts in key neighborhoods.

Southern U.S. states have closed 1,200 polling places in recent years: rights group

The report comes as Republican-led states impose a range of other restrictions, from shorter voting hours to photo-ID requirements. As turnout has surged in recent elections, voters in cities like Phoenix, Arizona and Atlanta, Georgia, have endured hours-long waits to cast their ballots.

Seven counties in Georgia now have only one polling place, the report found.

Texas closes hundreds of polling sites, making it harder for minorities to vote

Guardian analysis finds that places where black and Latino population is growing by the largest numbers experienced the majority of closures and could benefit Republicans

But all voter laws DON'T apply equally. Laws saying how man polls are required for how many people are not the same for white and black

An enterprising group might consider handing out water outside rich and poor districts alike to test consistency of enforcement.
