If this is true, then I have certainly been unaware of it. And I would say that it is far over the line to abuse family members whose parent represents either party. So I am strongly opposed to the abuse of the family members of both Republican presidents and Democratic presidents. Is it your idea of fairness and equality to support the abuse of family members, regardless of party?
If the family member is not part of the official administration, 100%. Family members don't get a pass if they are part of the administration. All political creatures deserve our scorn, as often and as frequently as possible. I pretty much hate them all. (Though Rand Paul is definitely someone I'm keeping an eye on. I love a lot of what he has to say.)
So, you are asserting that Ivanka Trump's "sin" is to be attached to the administration (even though it is not anything she actually did in administrative terms to draw the Daily News' ire)? I suppose that might be halfway reasonable if one views the other party as The Enemy--rather than as The Loyal Opposition--and therefore sees anyone attached to it as giving aid and comfort to The Enemy...
I view both parties as the enemy of the Constitution and the American people. What do Congress critters do all day? Try to further their own interests and win re-election. That's their only focus. Not one of them gives a snot about us.
For openers, I certainly do not consider it a "loathsome mistake"--or a "tragedy"--for Americans to celebrate the moving of Israel's embassy. (Every country may declare its own capital; if Russia were to instruct America that our capital must be, say, Chicago, we would certainly not like that.) And just about every country has its embassy in its capital. In fact, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush--even Barack Obama--have all declared Jerusalem to be the legitimate capital of Israel. But it is only Donald Trump who has made it happen. It is only those who embody the four "V's": vindictive, vengeful, venomous, and vile--who think that the Trump administration, and anything attached to it, must be vilified (another "V"). By the way, referring to a representative of the administration as a "ghoul" is not merely a political statement; rather, it is a personal attack...
Nope. I think one of the two teams should step up to the plate and take the high road. That would be awesome, because they would be able to claim moral high ground. It's the CLAIMING of moral high ground while using the exact same tactics that makes them all hypocritical ******bags. Hannity poked at Michelle constantly for eight years, but now, all of a sudden, it's poor Ivanka, those democrats should be ashamed of themselves. Yeah, ok Sean, whatever. :eyeroll:
So, you do not believe in judging people as individuals, but merely as members of a group? I wonder just how that would work if any other group were the target?
Aren't you being partisan in your defense of het in the corse of her acting in the role of an official advisor to the POTUS.
I did not level any criticism against her did I! Indid not charge her with any sin did I! I said she is part of the administration therefore fair game. Neither Ivanka nor anyone should be harassed or attacked for no reason. I recall that there were Obama haters who jumped ugly on Michelle Obama. She was FLOTUS but family right! An official advisor needs to expect to be asked questions about her/ his actions actions or words. Son in law Kushner should not be allowed to hide behind family connections if he was playing footsies with the Ruskies.
If both Kushner and Ivanka were just leading private lives and the media and other people were slandering or calling them names that is one thing but BOTH are obviously tied and part of this ACTUAL Trump Administration. To say Ivanka isnt part of Trumps Admin is disingenuous when she attends many foreign related events and even fills in on meetings and has the title "special advisor to the president"
She also has an office in the West Wing, a staff, security clearance and WH issued communication devices. Anyone who pretends she's just family is plain out lying.
You made the ridiculous claims and I knew you'd either not respond or not even attempt to back up your claims. I was right. www.quora.com/What-was-Obamas-net-worth-before-the-presidency https://www.forbes.com/sites/danale...une-falls-600-million-in-a-year/#1db1a468141b Nothing you post can be taken seriously.
How many deaths have resulted from this move? How far back is any peace solution put because of it, and resulting in more deaths? Including the deaths of Westerners? Where do you think terrorism comes from? It is all a result of ME upheavel as a result of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. We would save thousands of lives if we just solved the ME peace problem: instead the Orange Idiot has set the possibility of solving it back years and years. Yes, it is indead a tragedy. All the death that has and will result from it. Have you no sense, no humanity?
The same fqmily that set themselves up as targets? Tell me what was Ivanka doing at all those summits she went to?
You obviously are believing all the lies that Trump and his gang have told you. The media has gotten things wrong at time just as I bet you have, corporations have government has. Is you credibility shot just because you made a mistake once in a while? Don't tell you are perfect either, even God has screwed up once in a while.
It is certainly possible to be duplicitous--to claim that something is a matter of principle, when it is really just politically expedient--but the latter is certainly not what I am doing. I did not hear what you claim--i.e. that Sean Hannity (allegedly) poked fun at Michelle Obama--but if that is true, I would certainly denounce it. Nonetheless, I certainly cannot imagine that a newspaper might have done this. And that is what would be truly analogous. Moreover, I do not attach myself to any "team." (If I were a professional athlete, it would much more likely be as a golfer than as a basketball player.) I am enormously independent.
Well, I think that I am free--ethically free--to infer just what you meant. But if I have misjudged this, then please correct me, and tell me just what you really intended...
Did he literally call her a monster? Or did he criticize her excesses for the way she ran her office and tried to micro manage what children would be eating at school? Attacking Ivanka for who she is rather than what she has done is very low and just drags all concerned down and you don't seem able to discern, or are interested, in this vital distinction. I don't think you are quite as non partisan as you claim to be.
He criticized her clothing, he called her angry and bitter. I'm sure there's more. He's claiming he never once said anything negative about Michelle. Such a liar. He offered to fly her to Zimbabwe as long as she promised never to return. My preference would be that only ideas get attacked, but that's not who we are. With each new administration, the vitriol from the other side gets worse.
I meant that an honest politician is an extremely rare creature; almost extinct. They deserve whatever they get; they are only interested in their own power. That's a huge issue for me.
