I still don't think that 60 minutes is that glamorous or inherently increases the value.
I guess they had no other picture; I think ANY other event would "trump" a picture of her on 60 minutes.

Personally I don't see the issue. There are bigger fish to fry.

Ma and Pa stores don't hold the presidency and make public decisions that affect the hole country.

Nepotism, in it's generic term is getting a position due to family favors and not necessarily competence. That COULD be the case. However, for all we know Trump may actually think that Kuchner has value in the cabinet. Maybe Ivanka has skills that can help out the transitional team. And as far the clearance, it depends on what kind of clearance. IMO, they should only get the lowest level of clearance. Any higher and that would not only be a ethical violation, but the same things we cited Hillary on.

But overall, the necklace thing was an accident. You REALLY don't think she attended the interview, purposefully just to advertise the bracelet? A bracelet she said NOTHING about? IMO, this is about fear, pre-supposition and absolutely no trust whatsoever in Donald Trump.

Which means the WH is going to be hell for them in the foreseeable future. People like you, had already made up your own minds.

Who gives a crap? When I see an expensive bracelet on Ivanka I know my tax dollars did not pay for it and that makes me feel all warm and toasty on the inside.

Welcome to the world Obama lived in through the last 8 years. Why would Trump have it any better, being the divisive figure he is?

As to nepotism: Just the appearance of it has to be avoided. Because when you appoint your child, nobody knows whether it is because of skill or as a favor.

My son's football coach has his son on the same team he coaches. He gives his son all the best positions in the team. And, miraculously, his son mostly gets the MVP too. He also runs the youth football league. Now, tell me what's wrong with that picture. If you know what's wrong with it, you know what's wrong with Trump's approach. His son could actually really be the best running back ever. But we won't know, because everyone assumes that he got the position because of his dad, not because he earned it.

All celebrities do it. If these tiny-minded idiots want to throw their money at them it could be argued that the celebs are providing a public service by relieving them of it.

Please dazzle us with your brilliance and show us exactly where in the interview Ivanka advertised the bracelet, or even pointed to it, or even glanced at it in a "promoting" way. Please.

    You can't?

    We already knew that.

All the Trump women, including the former wives, have incredible class and grace. I wouldn't be surprised to see every single thing they wear being commented on and subsequently "sold out". It's common to see bangles and clothing (or replicas) promoted so I guess the goofy librals now have something new to stew and spew about.

With negative assertions like that, I think everyone should denounce their families by 18. It doesn't seem to be a strength to have an active and public family. But I could answer the question: Does said family member(not necessarily a Trumpie) have past experience/success in the field or not? To keep with the sports example, my basketball team(the 76ers) had this 'optics' problem with current GM Bryan Colangelo. Because Jerry Colangelo(his father) was a special advisor to the team.

But Bryan Colangelo was a successful GM for both the Phoenix Suns and Toronto Raptors. I had no doubt that he was qualified, moreso than the last GM lol.

Frankly, I could've cared less whether Bryan was related or not. All I cared about is if he could do the job. So it appears the only difference from an atypical family business, and Trump getting into the WH, is the fear that we will basically become a family dynasty of Trump's?(Though we can leave no doubt about the possibility of the Bush/Clinton dynasties as having had benefits while they had their respective stays in the WH.)

Does it make it right? I don't think it makes it wrong either. I hold nothing against Chelsea being related to Hillary. I had everything against what I saw as Hillary's improper actions. Trump could have his whole family be his entire cabinet and if they proved effective, I wouldn't care lol.

They have nothing better to do. Desperation is not an admirable quality. So Ivanka Trump is supposed to stop wearing her own label? Then they would be screeching that she thinks she's too good to wear $138 dresses. How many times did Michelle wear something that sold out in stores? Don't you think that the designers were grateful and gifted her with more clothes? You people have too much time on your hands....let it go...

We're not talking money laundering, or insider trade secrets. No, we're talking about bracelets! Lol. I can't do anything about it, but I weep for the United States of America. We're getting more and more evidence everyday that the country we're headed to becoming is not a promising one.

If he didn't then he can hardly take any of the blame; now that he does know he might tear her off a strip. After all, the kid herself wouldn't have known any better.

They need to lay off the kool aid. Did they NOT learn anything from this election? After the NYT issued an apology about how unfair they were and vowed to do better, they are back to their old tricks. These people need to stop listening to the lies of MSM. Personally I don't see them winning any elections for a long time. They all need attitude adjustments!

If we're lucky, they'll shoot some infomercials right in the White House over the next four years, to sell the products that Champion-Of-The-American-Worker Donald Trump and his family have made in foreign countries to sell to the American public at ridiculously marked up prices.

The bracelet is just an indicator of what's to come: The president elect and future president putting his personal interest before the nation's and personally profiting from the presidency -- while trying to convert the US to an aristocracy. But, believe me, the coal miner's in West Virginia will get the biggest boon in history, ever. Yeah right...

But, didn't you hear, she's going to champion for reducing income inequality. LOL...
