Incredible...only RELIGION could get an intelligent person to justify: 1. the slaughter of CHILDREN ("completely destroy all it's inhabitants"), and 2. and even animals (just burn them), and 3. never rebuilding a town, just because somebody who heard voices in their head 3000 years ago said to. Religion can be as dangerous to the mind as any drug or alcohol, which ALSO cause a disconnect from reality. Neutral, I care for you, so please return to reality. Thanks. Religions clearly require a disconnect from reality. But the reality-based serenity of modern Secular Humanism is bliss.
A modern Secular Humanist like Sam Harris would NOT advocate killing all the children, nor destroying the valuable livestock, nor never re-building, so he's therefore more moral than people who won't purge this part of their religious texts.

Israel is an ally of America and Britain, 2 countries which no longer care about their Christian heritage and just give lip service to it. Christianity is the most persecuted religion in the world at the moment. Countries that have been "liberated" during the so called arab spring have actually now been persecuting the Christian minority even more. In Syria the rebel forces whuch the media he portrays as the good guys have attacked Christians and Christian places of worship. Iran a country America and Britain would have us believe is completely evil is more tolerant to Christians than their Saudi Arbia allies. In Africa we have Muslims attacking Christians, in India we have Hindus attacking Muslims and Christians. In Pakistan we have muslims attcking Christians. In Israel we have Jews attacking Muslims and Christians. We also have Muslims attacking Muslims,and Christians attacking Christians. You will not hear about the Christian persecution Israel, commits or Saudi Arabia or Iraq in the mainstream western media because they do not want us to know. They only want you to know of the evils committed by countries that they currently do not like, or they want to go to war with in the future.
That's why modern Secular Humanists are against war, but because they are so evil, the God of the Bible and Qur'an (and Jesus when he "returns".....any day now!) are fully supportive of war. In fact they urge their followers in those books to go to war against people who have a different invisible friend than they do in about every other page of those books it seems. Not sure what the sick point was but Christians know more about the Jews than you seem too. THe jews are the only friend we have in the Middle East. What is the problem, everyone has crazy people, even christians.
