Actually, most of the people here do not "hate" Israel. What they do dislike is one form ( not all forms) of political Zionism which some factions in Israel support. I guess in your definition of hatred of Israel you must have a lot of self hating Jews and Israelis on your list as many in that country fear and disdain the objectives of some radical Zionists.

I agree mostly. If the middle east can be saturated with oppressive Islamic states then they can tolerate a Jewish democracy trying to live in peace and await their messiah. If anyone has a problem with Israel's existence and makes actions against them, I support all military options on the table for Israel, and by God she will be victorious.

I am glad that lowering our tax burden is not really a concern; maybe people will be less inclined to clamor for reducing social welfare spending that provides more for the general welfare than the public policy choices of last millennium.

They already have a state that has the majority Jewish. But they keep taking more and more Palestinian land in the West Bank and that only increases the Muslim population into what they want as a greater Israel. Many Israelis want all of the West Bank and would be happy to squeese the Palestinians living their into little Gaza which already has way to many living there.

How do you think that taking more Palestinian land will accomplish that? They are surrounded by Arabs. Arabs that are much better armed than they were in Israel's other two wars. They can sit back and launch missiles and strike every city and town in Israel. Sure Israel can strike back with nuclear weapons. That can hurt the Arab countries, but it can also wipe out Israel. Security only comes by trying to make peace with your neighbors. But Israel is interested in more land than they are peace.

Your right, they do. But that doesn't seem enough for them. They also want much of what the Palestinians have.

Sure they did. But you can't blame the people living there for hundreds and thousands of years to be happy about it and except it. You wouldn't like it if the courts told you the Native Indian have the right to half of your land and home and they now own it.

I think Israel would be no safer if they had all of the West Bank to protect them. Hell, Iran could launch missile at them thousands of miles away. The next war won't be like the first two. Israel had all they could handle just fighting in Lebanon. How would they do it against Iran, Syria, the Palestinians, Jordan and maybe Egypt, now that they have a new unfriendly government.
