Jordan looked the other way, no doubt when the sexual abuse was rampant.

Oh that's what caused the cages to be built? Jim Jordan looking the other way..... The things you learn and here I thought it was a cheap shot akin to talking about Obama's wife.

I don't know what Jordan had to do with the cages to be built. I know that Jordan looked the other way when his fellow wrestlers were being sexually abused.

Yep it's a Domino effect what happened at Ohio State lead directly to cages being built

Idk it must be relevant to the origin of cages or why else would we be talking about it?

You are talking about it. I was referring to Jordan's refusal to acknowledge that he was aware of sexual impropriety that was being inflicted upon his fellow wrestlers in college. His teammates say that he was well aware of it when he was coaching the team at Ohio State and did nothing about it. Were the cages built to house the predators? I think that I am off-topic. Sorry

Point is, it was okay prior to this administration but horrible during this administration. The hypocrisy is ripe!

That fits nicely with the plaque on Trump's desk -- "It's not my fault." :roflol:

Democrats dictated the immigration law. Obama built the facilities necessary to comply with, and enforce that law. Pelosi's DNC politburo is in a position to change that law. Maybe a "Do Nothing" placard ought to be affixed to Pelosi's gavel.

    Trump does not take responsibility.

He is a spoiled rich kid who got his way by making everyone around him miserable until they gave him what he wanted. Then he wandered off, declared victory in his little mind, and then plotted the next tantrum.

That is how he lives his life, and runs his Presidency.

Immigration laws did not change under the last Administration. McConnell blocked the effort.

This is flat out false! Amazingly so, in fact. The truth is the illegal immigration to the US dropped precipitously during the Obama years.

This is very easy to document.

Why would you would post such an obvious and flagrant lie?

Immigration laws haven't changed under Pelosi's speakership either. What has changed is DHS, CBP funding allocations. Obama's admin. had no trouble securing funds. Pelosi held up funding for months, completely denying that DHS, and CBP weren't prepared to deal with the over crowding crisis. Pelosi could have simply included a proviso that new and existing facilities be "cage" free. Pelosi's done nothing constructive. Not even for DACA kids. Pathway to citizenship? Nope ... "Do Nothing".

Or following the law. I can see it now, if he didn't follow the law you would be wanting impeachment hearings for not following the law. Dem logic is so f'd up I swear. Change the damn law like everyone with more than a pea for a brain has been saying for a decade.

Have you noticed the DACA kids aren't posing for photo ops with DNC politicians anymore? Pelosi was practically assaulted by a group that stormed one of her rallies. I commented earlier that a "Do Nothing" placard ought to be affixed to Pelosi's gavel.

The problem is the illegals should not be here in the first place. They don’t belong here.

Get them out of the cages and send them back.

Trump is twisting the law, the law does not say he has to be inhumane and separate parents from infant children without keeping track of which child goes with which parent, so that later they can't be reunited

Honestly, what is your solution? I'm open to any suggestions that do not involved releasing them into our country arbitrarily because they have a "child" which can't be proven to be theirs.

We are now at a breaking point of nearly 150,000 detainees per month hitting our boarder. Is the only solution to let them come across? There is a reason why they are not using the port of entry!

That's probably because there weren't foreign investors organizing groups of people to storm our border. I don't know why anybody bitching about the situation in the border doesn't thing to give half a flying f*** about this.

Remember the caravan that crossed Mexico? That was AstroTurf that was not grassroots. Poor desperate people don't have the money to provide the kind of support a 10000 person caravan would need.

I recall that was in the news for about a week and everyone shut the hell up about it.

I'm willing to bet the story was dropped because people were asking questions. Like how do a bunch of a destitute Guatemalans support 10000 person caravan. Where are they getting food where are they getting water?
