I wish I knew what metric you used for determining the US response because, as of right now, the US has the 3rd highest number of confirmed cases and will very rapidly pass Italy and then China.

And I never said I disagreed with NTI or John Hopkins regarding the theoretical ability of the US to handle a pandemic. I said that Trump and his administration objectively failed to meet those theoretical #1 ratings.

You made some vague reference to false claims that I am perpetuating, but you'll have to be more clear if you want me to defend or even engage any further on that front.

Love the graphic without units in the x and y axis, and without links.

This isn't the public sector I expect results.

It doesn’t matter. Our intel was on top of it and informed Trump of the seriousness. We intercept all of their intra country communications with ease....we can speak Chinese .

    https://lawandcrime.com/high-profil...-vulnerable-to-pandemic-large-scale-outbreak/

It’s no more then what Trump did with the intel that showed Russia interfered with the elections. Trump supporters live in a dream world.
Trump is an. Competent boob. And people are dieting as a result.

Our intel monitors their communications daily......Trump knows everything and he just BS the public daily with propaganda.
Pence does his dog and pony “praise the emperor” show while Trump keeps saying he inherited a mess, when really, he desolved the pandemic response team with three years of cuts.
After three years, Trump owns the government. He’s responsible by then, more so then the Bush and 911.

Recessions and bungling follow the gop lead administrations like puppy dogs.

Red herring is a lousy debate tool. It shows that the other person doesn't have squat by not actually arguing the subject.

There is no rational to your answer. It's like saying you don't believe mustang because pomegranate. You realize that China lied about their numbers, right? That's why they kicked out reporters from the US. They chastised the guy reported the outbreak in China after he died.

So you admit that the context was dishonestly presented but it's okay because "orange man bad" because he is a "clueless imbecile". That's lame.

You should write novels. You ability to create a fictional scenario is amazing. Trump[ knows everything that goes on in China all the time cuz "intel"?

He didn't "desolve" anything. I don't even think that's a world. That entity was absorbed it into the rest of the agency. The CDC still kept the abilities that the "desolved" entity used to perform. Reorganization happens all the time.

Sure, like Trump doesn’t have a history of humping Putin instead of believing his own intel. Of course, even the gop which is drunk with power even insists everyone has to bow to the emperor to get what they need. Meanwhile, you’re putting your faith in Trump instead of medical science ?

Yup, his Humper’s are naive if they think Trumps stupidity game is for real. He does play stupid well, which could be what makes him so endearing to the party faithful. Yup, Trump oversaw dumping the experts.

Guess you don't understand what a "red herring" is. It's where one party presents an argument about one thing and the other party comes back with a rationalization that has nothing to do with the subject being discussed. You stated that trump sucks and that is the rationalization for lying about Trump's statement about the virus being a hoax. It's like claiming that Trump forced the liberal press to lie about the context of his statement because he sucks therefore it's okay to lie. I heard this argument once when a guy beat his wife. He claimed she made him do it by pissing him off.

"A red herring is something that misleads or distracts from a relevant or important question. It may be either a logical fallacy or a literary device that leads readers or audiences toward a false conclusion."

Did you make that up by yourself, or did the fake media tell you to think that?

No, the rational exists. You asked me if I trust the numbers from China and I implied that I do not fully trust them. The reason is explicitly because I agree that they are probably lying about the numbers.

But I also do not fully trust the numbers from the US because they were so slow to test and the number of tests that they have conducted still lags substantially behind other countries, from a test per millions of population point of view.
