If your threshold for lack of success is a report of a single incident on a right-wing nutjob website then there isn't a successful county on Earth.

By any normal, objective, standard Sweden is successful. It has an overall high standard of living and unlike the US (and UK) has comparatively low levels of income and wealth inequality and relatively high levels of social and economic mobility.

 

Just because Mueller registered as a Republican doesn't make him a Conservative. The tell is the company he keeps and associates with. Which is not Republicans.

Do you recall that the judge in the Manafort trial did much the same thing and ended up sentencing Manafort for his crimes?

What makes you believe that Sullivan is not going to end up ruling in the same manner when he sees all of the evidence?

It's been a while on Manafort, but has he actually been sentenced at this point?? Ellis was very anti-prosecution, but Manafort was found guilty on several of the Virginia-based crimes, but I don't recall Manafort getting an actual sentence from any court yet...

There is no "Virginia" sentence...he only has two Federal Sentencing dates.

Well it's interesting to note that during the 50's and 60's in the US, a time when the middle classes were doing best, income and wealth inequalities were at their lowest and social and economic mobility were at their highest. If you want a society where an increasing proportion of wealth is concentrated in a tiny elite who are increasing the barriers of entry to that elite, then the US and UK are going about it the right way.
