Alleged witnesses to the event and alleged witnesses to the party. All say it is not true. Name one person who has lent support to her claims.

    You said

If you knew that was not true you would say "I don't recall and but sounds about right. " REALLY.

We will know more on Thursday. Until then, you continue to not understand.

That is why we need an investigation. That all may say it is not true doesn't mean that it isn't true, because these people are now adults
with families and have moved on with their lives and may not want their lives upset over something that happened to somebody else.

We understand that a Democrat running for re-election has brought up a woman with baseless claims from 1982 which she never reported until voila - in the 11th hour before a USSC nominee is voted to be sworn in.

    Frankly, that's really enough.

First, you are wrong. People are traumatized for all kinds of reasons. Think back on your own memories and I think most would have been so clear for a traumatic reason such as seeing parents having sex or a schoolyard bully beating you. The parents nor the bully may remember it, but the traumatized person certainly does.

Second, thank you for the tacit admission that "a dumb drunken teen pushes you down and tries to yank your pants off." :)

The fact remains, Thursday won't change anything. Ford will get something off her chest and the Republicans will still confirm Brett.

Hilarious. No, women don't go around traumatized that someone in their teens was in a drunken stupor and supposedly pushed them down and tried to take down their pants.

At minimum, this woman is admitting she's bat **** crazy.

As I said, such things happened to me more than once as a pre-teen and teen. I wasn't traumatized then, and I certainly aren't now.

My tacit admission of what? Nothing Ford has claimed has a modicum of evidence and everyone she's named as "witnesses" or "present" know what on earth she's talking about.

This entire thing reeks of political sabotage and opportunism.

    Something off her chest? Buwahaha...

The only thing "on" her chest is Trump Derangement Syndrome.

So, let's go with that. The woman is batshit crazy because she's upset at an attempted rape attempt when she was 15 and her attempted rapist was a drunken 17 year old. I can live with that. Can you?

She's complaining about Brett, not Trump......or do you believe this is a vast, wide Left Wing conspiracy to harm Trump?

I see no proof of "attempted rape" let alone by the person she's claiming. Multiple people she's named deny being in such a place and knowing this person.

The timing of her claims severely undercuts her legitimacy and makes it look like she's just another 11th hour supposed victim the Democrats have a habit of trotting out on the eve of an election or political appointment.

He's a conservative, a Trump appointee. He's "one of those" which is why liberals hate him.

She has zero evidence, zero corroborating witnesses, nobody is backing her except the ***** hat crowd.

She failed to file appropriate local charges she could have filed if something happened to her, instead she chooses to surface during USSC confirmation hearings and try a gambit to force the FBI to investigate, even though local crimes are not their jurisdiction and any statute of limitations expired years ago. And on top of this, she keeps playing games and stalling, as if she's waiting for the midterms to come around to postpone the vote.

Just how many red flags does it take you to get to doubt someone's credibility?

You may want to take a little closer look at that claim. Not recalling a party 35 years ago is not the same as saying "She's a liar, I wasn't there".

The timing was controlled by Feinstein, not Ford. Again, take a closer look at the timeline.

Translation: You are right again, Max. Ford is attacking Kavanaugh, not Trump.

    No worries, girl. :)

Doesn't matter that it is not a court room. The court of public opinion will be using this hearing and the outcome (I still think Judge K will be confirmed) in the November elections.

The decision will be historic, and it will impact the election big time.

The generic spread is now at 12 points for the Dem. They are at majority figures now. That puts them where the Pubs were in 2010, which resulted in 63 seats more for the GOP.

Agreed. While I do not doubt Ford or Ramirez, the Democrats care about them only a little more than the Republicans. The real struggle here is the election.

I think the Republicans and Kavanaugh are screwing up. Obviously the accusations against Kavanaugh are typical of rowdy teenagers and college kids. The fact Ford admits to underaged drinking herself is also typical. Remember the Bush girls getting into trouble drinking?

Rather than deny, deny, deny, Kavanaugh should give a mea culpa thus defusing not just the attempted derail of his confirmation but also the tarring of the Republicans prior to an election. Something like this: "I wasn't a very good role model in those days. Although I don't recall the incidents described, I do not doubt the claims against me and I apologize. Such behavior is wrong, but I am not the same person I was as a very young adult 35 years ago".

The Democrats are successfully driving a wedge between decent people, especially those with daughters, and the Republican party. Both Kavanaugh and the RNC should rethink their handling of this.
