THEY DON’T LIKE AN UPPITY BLACK MAN: Protests Planned Outside Justice Thomas’s Home After Abortion Ruling.

"I’ve noticed that most of the hate aimed at individual justices I’ve seen on social media is directed at Thomas, even though he didn’t author the Dobbs opinion, Alito did. That’s racism, straight up."

" He subscribed to the Democratic agenda of: Civil Rights, civil liberties, social justice, stewardship of the planet."

Scalia on his differences with Thomas, “I’m an originalist and a textualist, not a nut”. Posthumously the justice aptly describes the current state of the court:

    A collection of nuts.

Thomas should resign because he has repeatedly refused to recuse himself from cases he has a clear conflict of interest in. Because those conflicts involve his wife and her batshyte crazy actions in support of an attempted coup. And because he is undermining faith in the court as an apolitical institution.

The Leftists on the court should be the ones that resign. They've already stated that they have pre-decided certain cases, even without hearing the arguments.

They said it was "settled law". This decision means that was a blatant lie, and a lie is an impeachable offense. I can't see why all 3 of them shouldn't be instantly removed by summary judgment. Their crime was directly witnessed and recorded by the entirety of the American populace. What more do you want FFS?

We have GOT to show thesel lying bastards that there are CONSEQUENCES to blatant dishonesty that would put you or I in jail forever. I once had a ****head HR manager threaten to send me to prison because I padded a resume saying I had experience flipping burgers. To quote someone I forget. LOCK. THEM. UP.

I can't help wondering how Clarence will feel, given his believe for the need of the explicit enumeration of rights in the Constitution, and the purported over stepping of prior court's authority in that regard, when a state decides to outlaw inter-racial marriage?

A state can't outlaw interracial marriage. There's a Federal law that makes interracial marriage legal.

If abortion is as important as you all insist, why haven't the Democrats passed a law making abortion legal? They could have done it in 2009-2010, but didn't. They ****ed you out of abortion, not the court.

The Democrats don't give a **** about you. If they did, there would be congressional acts passed that protected abortion, contraception and gay marriage.

Certain cases stand on the face and have no possible rebuttal. One is the impeachable offense of perjuring yourself to get the job. All 3 of the new appointees did that, on tv and directly witnessed by the Congress and everyone who has a tv in the USA. These are eligible for Summary Judgment, no trial is necessary.

Congress doesn't have the authority to force court justices to pre-decided court cases. The two branches are co-equal. Giving Congress that power would violate the separation of powers.

Yeh, right, now that they've been caught

Lock the lying bastards up. How much more of this out and out criminality are we expected to tolerate? It's like Republicans just do whatever they wish and nobody does anything. This cannot go on.

Not Congress, other judges. Can't the justices be charged themselves? Are they above the law?

You really show very little understanding of how the process works. For the most part the hearings are a dog and pony show put on by politicians that want to campaign on the national stage at the taxpayer's expense. But let one from the left side school you.

    https://ballsandstrikes.org/nominations/supreme-court-confirmation-hearings-brief-guide/

The nominees did not rule out overturning Roe. They simply acknowledged the way it was currently viewed.

They aren't mature enough for democracy, they love the infantilizing of totalitarianism.

The Dobbs Decision Unleashes Rage And Revisionism

"Notably, it is precisely what the Court anticipated in condemning those who would make arguments "designed to stoke unfounded fear".
    ..

"Vice President Kamala Harris and others repeated the claims that same-sex marriage, contraceptives, and other rights are now in danger. The Court, however, expressly and repeatedly stated that this decision could not be used to undermine those rights:"

"Ginsburg herself criticized the opinion as going too far. At The University of Chicago Law School, Ginsburg stated on the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade that Roe gave"

“the opponents of access to abortion … a target to aim at relentlessly and attributed not to the democratic process, but to nine unelected old men.” She added that “the history of the year since then is that the momentum, momentum has been on the other side. The cases that we get now on abortion are all about restrictions on access to abortion and not about expanding the rights of women.”

    RBG Continued:
"I thought that Roe v. Wade was an easy case and the Supreme Court could have held that most extreme law unconstitutional and put down its pen,” she added. “Instead, the court wrote an opinion that made every abortion restriction in the country illegal in one fell swoop and that was not the way that the court ordinarily operates.”

Too many on the Left rely on rage rather than reason like RBG did.

That's ridiculous. To say no further discussion or questioning of ANY law is to admit to tyranny.

Bullshirt. If the hearings are just meaningless sophistry why do they have them anyway? They are sworn testimony to the Congress on matters of law and matters of law are more than just abstruse philosophical disputes, they affect people's lives in profound ways. These hearings have the purpose of letting the People know these Justices will not abuse their extremely powerful positions to visit tyranny upon us. In that respect they lied through their teeth and they are almost immediately doing just that very thing. We MUST impeach them to preserve our nation which they seem bent upon destroying to set up an oppressive theocracy.

Mark my words, if this decision is not obviated in some way we are beginning to see here the spectre of a Dominionist America.

That's a bit dramatic. America is about liberty and democracy. We have moved closer to it.
