Most Americans support the right to have weapons — they just support common sense legislation to prevent criminals or unstable individuals from possess them.

I have no idea what you are talking about?

Are you upset because I am “screaming” democracy?

My test is viability — it isn’t a difficult concept for most people even if they disagree and believe children should be forced to have their rapists baby. Which is disgustingly evil. But you do you.

Can you identify which is viable? I have faith that you will get this one correct!

The constitution was designed to put the majority of power and control with the States and the people and you're just angry you can't continue to corrupt this fact by way of judicial interference as you demand your opinions are adopted by force nationally.

    Truth.

    Yes. https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-...k-by-week/in-depth/prenatal-care/art-20045302

    1
st picture difference from the second picture…
According to The Mayo Clinic is the fetal development 5 weeks after conception. The brain and face are the focus of development.

According to the Mayo Clinic in the earlier process of fertilization… The zygote typically has 46 chromosomes - 23 from the biological mother and 23 from the biological father. These chromosomes help determine the sex and physical traits.

    https://www.heartbeat-of-nacogdoches.org/how-fast-does-a-baby-develop/

    Did You Know?
    • A baby’s heart begins to beat on day 21 after conception.
    • A baby’s lungs are formed on day 26-27 after conception.
    • On day 36 the baby’s eyes develop their first color in the retina.
    • On day 40 the baby makes her first reflex movements.
    • On day 42 the baby develops nerve connections that will lead to a sense of smell. The brain is now divided into 3 parts. Mom now misses second period.
    • On day 44 electrical activity is detectable in the brain.
    • At 8 weeks the baby is now well-proportioned and every organ is present.
    • At 9 weeks, if prodded, the baby’s eyelids and hands close.
    • At 10 weeks, fingerprints begin to form
imho Picture # 1 is a representation of what we all once looked like before our birthdays.
imho Picture # 2 has no connection whatsoever to all the unique individuals who never were born to take their first breath on their birthday.

2nd picture involves a potential to have an ability to sense their surroundings, feel, think and breath.
1st picture based on the abortion issue being discussed and when that abortion is used…it will result in none of the abilities mentioned for 2nd picture.

With one addition no facial development like 1st picture.

Plus… No heart beat. No breath. No life.

If, a zygote has human chromosomes from a human mother & human father…

A DNA test could prove that all those unique individuals who were or will never be born… were actually all potential persons, just like their parents.

    imho

Most voters aren't single issue and abortion isn't a top priority for most voters. The economy is. The last time inflation and wage erosion was this bad, a Democrat president lost his bid for reelection and dems lost 3 presidential elections in a row. It's a big deal.

WaPo: What does the Kansas pro-abortion victory tell us about the midterms?

    Biden flashes White Power Symbol.

"People don’t grasp just how significant this economic environment will be, as it has been more than 40 years since we had an election under these conditions. Five straight quarters of wage erosion will make all other issues secondary to getting better economic policy, especially with Biden and his team insisting that we should stay the course."

It looks like your upset about democracy happening. Are you going to stop with the silly notion that The United States is a democracy, now?

The Bible was used as their justification to dehumanize blacks and make/keep them as slaves.

Always the rapist rhetoric, even knowing that view would be held by less than those that think a baby could be aborted until birth. Not sure why you must be divisive instead of reasonable discussion? It deteriorates your post to the absurd file, when most left and right agree with your timeline. It's very interesting.

After the people of Kansas rejected the state constitutional amendment to ban abortions, the Kansas state GOP will undoubtedly pass the law in the state legislature and the governor may appoint a person to the State Supreme Court who will undoubtedly be a die-hard anti-abortion advocate. I am assuming that the GOP will retake the governor's mansion in 2024. If the GOP does that, then that is political power.

Vaccines are not political power, just an excuse by RW modern conservatives to act like children. Don't get me wrong, there are legitimate reasons for an individual not to take the vaccine, but that is on a case-by-case basis. Bear in mind, that the United States and the various states have vaccine mandates for children and to some extent, adults for a plethora of diseases. Generally, this is for public and private schools. Some private schools go beyond the state requirements. Thus, the problem with the Covid vaccine was not the vaccine, it was the RW media who presented a lot of misinformation about the vaccine. But then again, if Trump won the 2020 election, the RW would not have done this a minority of die-hard Democrats would be doing the same thing as the RW modern conservatives did.

And what about the Tennessee bill that is pending to allow the rapists family to sue the victim if she aborts?

It was the interpretation of the "mark of Cain" by Southern Baptists and Pentecostals in the deep south that justified the use of the Bible against Blacks. Even the Southern Baptist Association apologized for this in 2005.

The point is any religion can be used to justify pretty much anything despite what the Bible says. The Bible does not explicitly state abortion is wrong. Nowhere in Deuteronomy or Leviticus or even in the NT. But Evangelical Christians say it is there and the Bible says not to do any abortion of any kind.

I think this vote might gain say that opinion

There will be more factors in those mid terms

For a start the GOP honked off an awful lot of veterans - yes the bill finally passed but that little stunt by Cruz did no one any favours

A lot of pro-lifers and some of the most vocal pro-lifers do use religion. The vernacular is the Christian Right, People include Mark Harrington, Mike Huckabee, James Robison, Matt Walsh, James Dobson, John Burt, and countless others in the last link. The point is that religion is at the forefront of abortion, namely Evangelical Christianity which use Apologetics to justify its arguments, in the first link I provided.

For science aspect, it is more than just biology when life begins for humans, it must also include the philosophical range, which can include religion. Otherwise, we should treat all life the same whether we are eating cavier or arguing with someone who is thinking about an abortion. Furthermore, if a person is pro-choice, that does not mean they are automatically pro-abortion.

Stop with the BS, there should be health exceptions of the mom and baby. Now why don't you go worry about your country, in Western Australia it's criminal to have an abortion and South Australia just made it noncriminal July 7th. Your health system is so f'd up you have to have a post code lottery to go to another territory or state to get an abortion where it's legal. Women have to get temporary Visa and those temporary visas don't receive Medicare. OfCourse your great healthcare insurance makes you apply, for treatment and typical wait times are a year, baby is born by then so no insurance. Why don't you go fight for the women of your country and quit making a joke out of your negative post about America's system, which is light years better for women. Even if you live in one of the couple states that abortion is banned, they're an hour or two away from an abortion.

Ah! So you cannot tell me and instead launched an Ad Hom

what you do not realise is that WA, like Qld used to have, is an old statute that does allow for “life and health of the mother” and once that codicil is on any abortion bill it becomes a useless piece of waste paper https://www.gotocourt.com.au/criminal-law/wa/abortion-law/

Abortion is funded free under our healthcare system and we have one of the lowest maternal mortality rates in the world despite the fact we have a huge number of very remote communities. Yes it is true that free health care is only available to Australians or those with permanent residency but, we treat first and argue payment later - often much later

You're confusing your fantasies with facts.

    Some just can't help themselves..

Again, you can't stick religious belief into law.
