Communism is an ideology advancing poverty for all to ensure the population is equally poor, while government corruption runs rampant.

Capitalism has some rather nasty side effects as well...remember sweat shops, child labor, and the Great Depression? It works but it needs pretty careful regulation or it becomes as bad or worse than communism.
