Iran is a periah nation, holding our hostages today, and exporting terror world wide and was killing our troops in Iraq...

The onus is on Iran, which,as a signatory of the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty, is obligated to develop a peaceful nuclear program in line with the treaty it signed. It's been in violation for decades, which is even why we are at this point.

Why? In order to show the Obamabots that even according to their own terms Iran will be free to weaponize its nuclear program on expiration of the temporary agreement. This demonstrates that Obama has not accomplished the objective of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

Why not all of their facilities?

Maybe. In any event Obama has agreed to lift the arms embargo in five years. At that point Iran can freely purchase ICBMS from Russia.

"Today after two years of negotiation the United States together with the international community has achieved something that decades of animosity has not: a comprehensive long-term deal with Iran that will prevent it from obtaining a nuclear weapon," Obama said from the White House, with Vice President Joe Biden at his side. (link)

You might be right. I think making a deal with Iran may be the right approach at this point. Kind of a controlled descent, when a crash is unavoidable.

But Obama over sold the deal -- again. I think it's likely he's going to regret claiming this deal will prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

Iran is going to get the bomb eventually and when they do folks will point back to this statement, same as they do now about "you can keep your health plan."

Credit to the guy for getting something constructive done with Iran, finding a way to increase business opportunities and perhaps delaying nuclear proliferation and conflict in the region.

this is why moot is the term I use when I read some posts here..

Secretary of State John Kerry, the lead U.S. negotiator at the marathon talks in Lausanne, Switzerland, insisted the U.S. side brings up the prisoners’ fate in every bilateral meeting with Iranian leaders.

He told reporters in Lausanne on Thursday the Obama administration would continue to press for the prisoners’ release, arguing the nuclear agreement may make the task easier.

“I’m not going to go into any details except to say to you that that conversation is continuing,” Mr. Kerry told reporters at a press availability Thursday. “We have a very specific process in place to try to deal with it, and we call on Iran again today, in light of [this agreement], to release these Americans and let them get home with their families.”

The American Center for Law and Justice has championed the case of Mr. Abedini, who has been held in Iran since 2012 on charges of organizing private Christian services in Iranian homes.

ACLJ said in a statement U.S. officials should press now even harder for his release.

“In the wake of President Obama’s announcement that a framework for a deal with Iran has been reached on nuclear negotiations, it is critical that our government use this unique opportunity – as our two nations continue to sit at the negotiating table over the next few weeks and months – to bring Pastor Saeed and the other wrongfully imprisoned Americans home to their families,” the statement said.

It's too bad Obama didn't negotiate as hard with the Iranians as he does with Republicans.

I love posts that are devoid of facts as alway, but ripe with hate of Isreal and the Jews...but let me guess you have "the real info" LOL

    snip...

Meanwhile, Paul Muenstermann, then vice president of the German Federal Intelligence Service, said Iran had received two of the three nuclear warheads and medium-range nuclear delivery systems from Kazakhstan. It also was reported that Iran had purchased four 152 mm nuclear shells from the former Soviet Union, which were reportedly stolen and sold by former Red Army officers.

To make matters worse, several years later, Russian officials stated that when comparing documents in transferring nuclear weapons from Ukraine to Russia, there was a discrepancy of 250 nuclear weapons.

Last week, Mathew Nasuti, a former U.S. Air Force captain who was at one point hired by the State Department as an adviser to one of its provincial reconstruction teams in Iraq, said that in March 2008, during a briefing on Iran at the State Department, the department’s Middle East expert told the group that it was “common knowledge” that Iran had acquired tactical nuclear weapons from one or more of the former Soviet republics.

Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer, an experienced intelligence officer and recipient of a Bronze Star, told me that his sources say Iran has two workable nuclear warheads.

its not a perfect deal, but its pretty good.

no Iranian nukes for at least 15 years.

or we could just bomb their nuclear sites, face terrorist retaliation, and never get inspoectors in Iran again.
