    Doesn't seem like it took very well, since Haiti and Chile still have higher rates of human slavery in 2018.

    LoL Haiti ranks NUMBER TWO in modern slavery.

    I blame God/Jesus for his approval of slavery in the Bible - and his appalling inability to, in 2000+ years and counting with no end in sight, fully condemn slavery - he's never ever done that!) Do monkeys approve of slavery???.....just wondering.

    You stated that "For straight white Protestant Christian males*" [America has always been great]....I was trying to point out that, apparently, atheist/Asians now enjoy the highest incomes, instead of your "white Protestant Christians". You are correct however, but I was just pointing out how the old order (that you mentioned) has changed. So from today on "straight white Protestant Christian males" are NOT the most successful....so maybe discrimination against minorities (Asians are certainly not white, and certainly a minority) is not as bad as the left makes it out to be, and maybe discrimination against atheists is not as bad as some atheists claim.

    Well it COULD be great for, say, GAYS, some day, some day when people will admit that God/Jesus is immoral for burning all gays alive in a lake of fire just for being gay (1 Cor. 6:9-10, Leviticus, etc. - God/Jesus never approved of gays, so they are hell-bound.)
    It COULD be great for, say, WOMEN, some day, some day when people will admit that God/Jesus is immoral for saying that women are blatantly inferior.

    It is the promise that makes America great and that promise is to all, that for some that for some it came later than others does not change the essential goodness of that promise. That promise is simply this, you can be as great as you wanna be and you can if you so choose drag others up with you all though it is damn hard to avoid that last. A real blessing always spreads to everyone around the person blessed. So you have a choice you can try to drag a few people out of the crab pot with you or you can stay in the crab pot and try to keep everyone else from escaping. the latter is far easier, and most people specialize in it. The left majors in it.

    “Promise” is a very fascinating word here. This country runs on the promise that all are created equal and will be treated as such. Nothing of the sort has ever happened, nor continues to.

    Wrong promise sorry that one is an ideal which at no point in human history has any country in the world ever lived up to and very few human beings. Would that it were different. But we human beings, aren't omniscient omnipresent or omnipotent. or even omnicaring. Stereotypes exist because we human beings hate having to think and hate even worse having to give a damn.

    Yea but that promise is one that is repeated almost as a mantra time and time again in America. Human history as a whole, I agree, has never delivered on this.

    Nor sadly will it ever, for exactly the reasons I stated. The point I'm trying to make here is that in the end blaming others for your problems is just a reason to stay in that crab pot and in the end it becomes a reason to keep others from escaping
