This is not based 100% on facts. There is a lot that can be done to mitigate the problems you are describing.

This article scratches the surface. I did a research paper on using hemp as ethanol, and there is mixed results in the literature. But, it can be grown in a way that is not harmful to the environment.

    Legalizing drugs has real benefits.

Sugar kills more americans every year then cannabis has killed over the entire history of the human race, combined.

Your post is nonsense. And it lacks a basis in reality.

Didn't read the entire article but industrial hemp has little THC contents and you can't get high on it.

The hemp that Washington, Jefferson, Madison and Ben grew would get you high.

Opioid use and dependency strictly declines when medical marijuana is legalized.

    Your point?

How many thousands and thousands of americans die because of alcohol every six months?

    Hypocrisy.

I understand that, but the point I was making was that they are the same plant and they can both be grown in ways that are not harmful to the environment.
Overall, any industrial agriculture is going to be harmful to the environment. Think about it. After 200,000 years as hunter-fisher-gatherers, humans transitioned to an agriculture way of life. Since then things have deteriorated dramatically.

Another one is anti-anxiety meds reduced too. I just saw the report about a week ago. I don't know if you have ever been around someone abusing xanax, but it is insane.

My wife has anxiety and I hated it when she was on that stuff. She hasn't had to use that stuff in years and since she started taking the CBD oil, her pain has been under control too.

When my wife was on xanax, she was outside in her panties with cake in her hair trying to fight her best friend. I really hate benzos.

The left is allegedly all about healthy living and to prove it they've tried to ban large sodas (NYC), they've taxed sodas (Philly and Seattle) and they tried or possibly succeeded in banning Happy Meats (CA) along with trans fats (CA) but let's keep those drugs flowing.

Your post is awash in hypocrisy.

Stupid study. Seems to simply presume that correlation equals causation. Usually its the media that makes that ignorant leap in logic but here it seems to be the authors of the study. Really is an absurd conclusion considering that medical marijuana is but a tiny fraction of the marijuana market.

Maybe you could provide us with a little context, such as the methods of the study, seeing as how the only part I can read in the link is the abstract, so I don't know the research methods.

One must always be cautious of the "post hoc ergo propter hoc" fallacy of assuming causation simply based on temporal sequence. But I've always thought that it was logical to conclude that legalization would likley result in lower crime. Prohibition makes criminal trafficking highly profitable, fueling the criminal element, and the users that want the drug may resort to crime to fund it.

it's common sense would go down, but you can bet if it had went up the pro-prohibition folks would be pointing to it as a reason for it to stay illegal

Until someone can quote the methods of the study, then it's a moot point.

I personally believe Marijuana is medicine. More natural medicine then the frankendrugs you endorse.

Did you know ibuprofen is linked to male infertility?

Go on and medicate your family how you want but allow me the same constitutional freedom.

They won't do that. They stick to arm-chair theory here.

They examined the violent crime rate before and after the legalization of medical marijuana.

Did you get access to the journal article? If so, I'm sure you can copy the part of the methods section where it describes in detail for us how they did this.

Sugar has been studied to have nearly the same addictive chemical changes in the brain similar to cocaine and heroin. So Marijuana is even less dangerous than sugar.

The study is private not a government publication as the headline implies
