Now we will assume (as I wasn't party to the conversation) that Trump did say "He knew what he signed up for".
Note that the concept of "Getting himself killed is his responsibility, not mine" IS NOT anything Trump said- that's pure left self-serving fertilizer..

"He knew what he signed up for" might also be taken to say that he volunteered for this kind of risk- the essence of heroism, to knowingly put your life on the line. That is a very high compliment.

I agree, but I don't think that Trump should call anymore, because he has no empathy or compassion, and it shows. The family's political
bias has no bearing as to a condolence call. It was the Congresswoman in the car who has the bias, and her timing for the reaming

It's a humane thing for the commander-in-chief to call the family of a killed warrior. President Trump should continue to do it and not let leftist Wilson destroy an honorable tradition. When someone in my family was killed I appreciated each and every phone call offering condolences. Wilson is an evil woman.
