Because you believe that the racist terms like "Thugs" or the "N. . ." words are not specific to a MINORITY of Black people? Are you saying that you apply those words to ALL Black people, no matter how intelligent, respectful, and nobles they are?

I do not believe the "libs" lump ANY group of people under one denomination. . .I most certainly don't! In fact, I don't even lump all Republicans or all uneducated Red Necks under the umbrella of racism. . .

The Democrats have a horrible history of racism. The thing is, those retarded and racist conservative Democrats are no longer our problem now. They are the problem of the GOP's today, and they are completely ruining that party.

Granted, that isn't very compassionate, but my ancestors were oppressed first by Roman slavers and then later by Vikings, both raped and pillaged their way across vast swaths of the world, but evidently low melanin totally excuses that behavior; no reparations for us...

Not necessarily. I should have asked, "Do YOU believe X or Y" because I was wondering which one of those YOU thought could be true. I never have accepted black people being genetically inferior. I'm just posing that question to some who seem to believe that way.

I beg to differ. I don't go to the movies as much as I used to, but there are still a lot of very good films being made.

I have noticed a tendancy to rely too heavily on special effects, and there are directors and cinematographers that pefer showing you clever tricks with steadicams instead of showing you the story. A number of would have been good scenes in modern movies have been ruined that way.

 

You cant prove what he said was wrong ...you don't like it ...but you cant prove it wrong.

Everybody knew liberals would once again praise themselves as "the only people in the world that aren't racist" by rewarding a pretty terrible movie with "best picture" simply because it keeps the liberal race war alive.

Remember folks: only White Americans are racist, and only White Americans have ever owned slaves.

Ellen summed up every libs mindset on this, whether they admit it or not, with her statement. Rush is correct. "Race" is one of the buttons to push in America, the other is "Gay". We'll do backflips to celebrate, and elevate even mediocre offerings if they deal with those "important" subjects today.

 

Who is Ellen? Why would anyone lend any credence whatsoever to someone giving his ignorant opinion of a movie he never saw?

So Ellen, the monologue writers, and likely most of Hollywood all agree.

This is just the sort of thing that the Limbaugh audience eats up.

Of course, they also get off on the fact that nearly everone else finds bigotry, misogyny, ignorance and fear repugnent.

But when your audience is Archie Bunker, this is how you have to talk to them, if you want to keep them tuning in.

I tuned in Rush a few weeks ago, just to see of things had changed from the ususal dismal low standard.

Things were very much the same. I did notice the absence of advertising, especially from respectible sponsors, and a lot of public service announcements. Limbaugh is also feeding off of right wing groups who come up with payola in the form of talking points that he feeds his audience while pretending to be an independent voice.

Limbaugh is all of those things. He has spent 25 years earning every label attached to him.

She's smart, as are the writers for the show. "Slave" is a word that you can't ignore and have to give special attention to.

If there is ever a movie about Matthew Shepard, it will win the Oscar for Best Movie... no matter how good or bad it is.

Hollywood panders to the minorities, and that's fine. It's who they are.

Ellen knows this and points it out...everyone laughs (obviously no one is bothered by her pointing it out).

Rush knows this and points it out, but there are whiny, threads full of fake outrage created over it.



If there is one good thing about the liberals.... they are 100% predictable.

 

And yet you wont call out Ellen for the same comments. Your partisan outrage is damn funny.
