Fox News says the Dems will take the House.

Not surprising since they needed 23 and the average number of seats lost by the party in the White House is 32.

 

The leftist hordes appear to be falling back.

Yeah, I think Fox is likely right.

But still, the media sure as heck can't claim this was some resounding victory by any means. Less than 30 (let alone only 24/25) is a huge disappointment which was something they have been saying for weeks now.

 

If Democrats get control of the House this country will be in a state of 'trench-warfare' and utter paralysis for the next two years at the very least. But, if by some horrific tragedy Democrats ALSO get control over the Senate, it'll be even far worse, and start happening much sooner.

And, if either one of these things happen my advice would be to liquidate every equity investment you have (if you haven't already done so) and deposit everything in separate credit union accounts of no more than about $200,000 EACH (leave yourself some head-space because you may want to leave the money there longer than you think). Then, be very prepared on short notice to lock your doors, load your guns, and wait for the sh*t to hit the fan.... I'm not kidding.
