The only information that I saw you provide was his alleged lack of affiliation with any other white supremacist group. I haven't bothered to read every post in this thread, so if you think you provided another reason for saying he had no motive, just let me know.

Lunsford asked Young whether it was true that her client, after his arrest, inquired about the well-being of the people in the crowd, asking, “Are they okay?”

Young said that Fields did ask about the victims and was told that one of them was dead.

“He did appear to be very shocked,” Young said."

If he can reasonably demonstrate that he was in fear for his life because, say for instance, a crowd of antifa were beating on his car... poof. He walks.

 

Blocking a street is of course not the end all of protesting racism or any cism it is a tool of protesting. We do not have to like it or agree with the protestors but it is a tool. During the civl rights movement protestors broke the law by blocking streets, drinking out of WHITE ONLY water fountains, and sitting in the front of the bus. All of those acts were illegal and obviously against the law.

Yet breaking the law was the only way for them to make their point back then if segregation was to be broken within a decade or two otherwise it may have taken another 200 years.

The current protestors of racism as they see it are using the same tactics as did guys, women, and other groups. Of course they also infested with crazies who have at times turned protests into riots and burned down private and municipal property. oH ALMOST FORGOT the anti war freaks were not exactly all peaceful flower children pollinating peacefully in the sunshine now were they.

Sp lets make AMERICA great again and go back to nice demonstrations we had back then.

Were you around here when this happened?. We had oodles of videos from every angle. There was even a drone video from above. If that video is the only evidence the prosecutor has, it's very weak. He's overcharged. Manslaughter and vehicular homicide at best. Some prosecutor is looking for a scalp for the wall and career, and some hot shot defense attorney will step in. It will be a carnival, shall I bring the popcorn?

 

Why not just treat him like an enemy terrorist/combatant and the RWers will scream he deserves a fair trial?
