Obama unfroze some of their money and got a nuclear deal and according to all of the other nations who signed the agreement, Iran (INCLUDING US INTELLIGENCE, which is why Trump hates US intelligence agencies) was fully abiding

You call the deal crappy, up until Trump decided to pull out, Iran agreed to freeze all uranium enrichment at 5% for 10 years (weapons grade uranium has to be enriched at 90%).
They also agreed to allow access to any sites in the country with a grace period of 30 days, which is nowhere near enough time to clean a nuclear site, accoridng to nuclear energy experts.
And they have agreed to limit their centrifuges to 5,060 for 15 years. Before the deal they had over 20,000.
They lowered their Uranium stockpile by 96%, and agreed to stop uranium enrichment at all but one plant.
They are only allowed to conduct nuclear research at a facility in Natanz.

All of this on it's own makes the deal worth it, and according to France, Russia, the UK, and the other nations who tookpart in the deal, including ALL US intelligence agencies, Iran was living up to the deal. When Trump pulled out, he created a situation where Iran is no longer legally bound by the treaty, but according to everyone but Trump they are still living up to it.
