That's an unusually high percentage since all members of the LGBT community number about 5% of the population. To what do you attribute the high percentage?

But it is undeniable that there are many cultures where child brides are unremarkable
It is also undeniable that child brides wereacceptable in early America
And, however we feel about it, it is also a fact that adult sex with children would be common were it not for laws against such things. It is not credible to claim no one is in favor of child sex when it appears to be a fairly common adult inclination that is only inhibited by draconian laws

First, what primitive societies do and what modern societies do are often different. Child brides were done for political purposes or for workers. In subsistence living conditions, female children were often a liability. Marrying daughters off was better than selling them off since the former made them wives and the latter made the slaves.

LOL regarding "would be common were it not for laws against such things". Same goes for murder, rape, robbery, slavery, etc. In this case, it comes down to consent. Children, animals, prisoners or slaves cannot consent to sex which is why it's considered rape.

Hint: They don't. People can choose their sexual behavior, but they can't choose their innate sexual preference.

Example; are you straight? If so, when did you choose to become straight? Did you experiment first? Flip a coin? Just follow the herd?....or were you born that way? I was born straight although the characteristic didn't present itself until puberty.

While I would no more condemn another for any form of birth defect, homosexuality is an aberrant behavior NOT something we should promote as a choice.
The reason I say this is because I have been propositioned more than once by homosexuals telling me I should try it, I might like it. One even tried to convince me he was born with his sex organs were in his throat.
Children are easily tempted.

Agreed. I was curious. Many women have protested sexual harassment hence the #MeToo movement. They are completely right to do so. No one deserves to be harassed no matter how many Lefties advocate doing it.
