* Manhunt underway for three men who murdered cop in Illinois !

Heard about that this morning... Who the hell shoots themselves in the chest to commit suicide?

Funny thing is, I've never heard Obama say anything bad about police or law enforcement in general. Then again, making a claim of wrong doing by any law enforcement officer anywhere at anytime is being anti-law enforcement to some people. As if they somehow become incapable doing anything wrong when they become an officer.

 

Uhhhhhh, no.

 

I wonder if regressives will protest what this crooked cop(thug ) did........

 

This guy had embezzled thousands of dollars from the youth programs run by the police and used them for his own living expenses, when he realized he was going to be caught he staged his death to look like a murder so that his wife and kids could collect on his life insurance. What a despicable person.

 

4 staged suicides/attempts that I know of:

1) Banker about to be charged with embezzlement tied himself sort of to a chair, set the building on fire, and killed himself after leaving a ransom note at his house.

2) Doctor (who was known to be nutty but a good doctor) leaves ransom note that demanded no actual ransom, wrapped himself in barbed wire and attempted to blow himself up under a bridge. The explosives just really messed him up, and he ended up in the nut house and later died of natural causes.

3) A former CIA agent who staged a break in, set his house on fire, and shot himself in the head. The first bullet did not penetrate his skull so he shot himself again. He was bankrupt and could not pay for his daughter's very expensive wedding so they assumed it was so they could collect the insurance. No suicide note.

4) A physician whose license was suspended and was facing multiple malpractice lawsuits staged an accident to make it look like he fell 3 stories off his roof. He apparently wanted to make it look like he was cleaning his gutters because that was what he told his wife he was going to do, but the circumstances in his life, that he didn't actually clean anything from any of the gutters, and that he wore a suit resulted in a ruling of a suicide because people don't generally clean their gutters in a $1,000.00 suit and tie anyway.

He shot himself in the chest because his corruption was about to get the best of his image in this community....

According to reports the guy was stealing money and the town (Fox Lake) treasurer found out and he started threatening to kill her...

 

well honestly, cop deaths are down this year, but bad cop about to get caught suicides might be up, not sure

Not only this but the notion that the cops were going Orwellian and started mandatory DNA testing of random people...

"2 black guys and a white guy"... **Sorry** 2 white guys and a black guy... Either situation in this county would be usual...

Of course "two black guys with a white guy" were arrested and interrogated because they were at a gas station - innocent people on their way to work...

If they were innocent then they aren't thugs. I'm not psychic and at the time everyone was reporting at a cop being murdered. Not sure what your point is.

It's what I have said all along - it is the right wingers on this and other forums who have stirred up hate and racial bigotry.

 

You made this a political issue, when it really is a crime, period. you got people riled up for no good reason, you should take responsibility for an utterly irresponsible thread theme.

 

At the time, what was reported was that a cop was killed and there were three suspects and I created this thread with a link and gave my opinion on the assumption that what was being reported was accurate. You're not a psychic and neither am I. When evidence now shows it was a suicide, I do not contest it. But I refuse to apologize for creating a thread which at the time was based on what was assumed fact.

 

I will give the leeway with the crime, but in no way are you innocent of the editorial that you brought up.

 

Perhaps that people shouldn't be so eager to trot out race-baiting threads.
