This happened only a few miles from my house and cops just aren't gunned down around here.... There hasn't been an officer murdered in my county since 1980....

To make matters worse it appears this officer was extremely corrupt and dark....

Oh and they found a gigantic bag of cocaine in his desk that was missing from an evidence room and they're not sure if he was using it or planting it on people...

This case gets better by the moment.

I hope all these pro-cop people around my house that put up banners and (*)(*)(*)(*) and did motorcycle rides for this guy feel like real morons... For Gods sake the retirement home across the street from my house as a digital sign and for the last 10 weeks the thing read "RIP officer Gleniwitez (sp)"...

Interesting development - his local supporters (or those that knew him) are now saying he was murdered because he was corrupt and was going to expose corruption in not only Fox Lake but the Lake County Sheriffs office...

I will tell you this much - everyone knew this was fishy in this community - cops just aren't murdered around here and not only that but "two white guys and a black guy" - such a description is so vague and so usual around here... This isn't a very segregated area and racially there is pretty much harmony... That is one issue I have a problem with - obviously this cop lied but a lot of people are attempting to portray the "two white guys and a black guy" thing as racist when it's not because it's not unusual to see two white guys and a black guy anywhere in this community.. This guy was obviously corrupt but the whole "it's racist" crap is just knee-jerk insanity...

Even when those victims are innocent teenagers or old people with no criminal record of any kind and despite videos showing prima facie acts of crime by those cops.

That just happened with Shepard Smith with regards to the death of Fox Lake, Illinois police officer Joseph Gliniewicz.

We recently reported how Gliniewicz actually staged his own death. It was a suicide that was made to look like a murder, because it turns out the “hero” cop who was known for working with youth was actually embezzling money for years from the very organization so many praised him for heading up. He even tried to hire a hitman from the gang community to bump off a city employee who was about to cause his house of cards to tumble. Of course, before all of this came out, Fox quickly blamed black activists and their allies working to end police brutality against communities of color to explain why Gliniewicz was dead.

Well, Shep Smith was done defending what was said on his network prior to these revelations. He said in a recent broadcast, referencing the rabid right-wingers — particularly the ones he works with — who hate #BlackLivesMatter so much, while speaking with his on-air guest, Dann Schorr:

“Think of the narrative that came out of that from so many, many places, about, ‘It’s the fault of the Black Lives Matter movement.’ All of this stuff that was just, it really turned up the rhetoric and it really was factually wrong.”

Turning his attention to the dead cop’s attempt to have the official murdered, Smith continued:

“Today, it got disgusting.”

Schorr agreed with Smith, saying that the way to avoid having this big a glob of egg on one’s face is to “not jump to big conclusions.”
