Maybe the media really is the enemy

The media is protected under the 1A, Trump is protected under the 1A, both granted free speech to say the most idiotic bs that comes to mind. When you dissect it further, as my comparison did, you see media and free speech is indeed mutual. The constitution talks of a free press, free press meaning the media. Whether it’s Meet The Press or Fox and Friends, it’s the same thing.

 

Figure out what a free press is, and you will see my response makes sense.

 

Well, I wasn't calling for suppression of speech, and neither is Trump. When he starts closing down newspapers, let me know and I'll go march against him somewhere with you.

 

Free means they can say and print what they want without government control or suppression. I'm not calling for either. It does not mean I can't call it propaganda and denounce it when I see it.

And no one has yet explained why the errors are seemingly always adverse to Trump, conservatism, Republicans, capitalists, you know, the usual suspects. You don't find that the slightest bit odd?

I have heard talking bobbleheads radio like full blown communist Tom Hartmann or wack-a doodle Stephanie Miller actually say CNN and MSNBC are actually right-wing news outlets. That's how deep their denial goes.

A knowledgeable electorate, which must have what John Adams termed 'civic virtue', monitors the press. Unfortunately, the alt right press monitors the Trumper right.

 

They never had any and the left runs the Journalism schools.

 

And thanks to the left's replacement of education with indoctrination over the last eighty years, most of the electorate now lacks the critical thinking skills necessary to monitor where their toe nail clippings fell.
