I asked a question and I didn't hijack the thread since you keep quoting on it. I also asked the question why the First Lady had to read the Lord's Prayer off of a piece of paper. That is something I learned in Sunday School as a child.

It has been the custom to open a wide variety of meetings and occasions with prayer. I've been to meetings where prayers were in Hebrew. I've been to services where prayers were offered in a variety of foreign tongues. I've heard people speak in tongues. I go to tribal meetings where the prayer is sung in Shoshone as well as recited in English. It's all in the spirit of peace and guidance - it's nice.

Well, everyone can pray and even every sinner can repent,
for me it's a good gesture from a first lady already branded as an escort before.
