Not trying to question her faith, but wouldn't you think someone who regularly says the Lord's Prayer wouldn't need to read it off of a piece of paper.

It was painful to watch and she hates public speaking because of her heavy European accent. I think it's time for her to speak fluent American English like Maria Sharapova. Melania could hire a speech-language pathologist (SLP) to improve her English pronunciation and I went through the phase, too.

How she worships is her own business and her accent doesn't bother me at all. The fact that it causes you concern say a great deal about the hypocrisy of leftists.

 

I normally presume people who pray, do so sincerely and with conviction whether they do so publicly or not, but that does not mean I am impressed by the fact that they pray. This is nothing to snear about as a stunt, and nothing to brag about as accomplishing anything.

She can lead a prayer in Melbourne or not, I just don't care either way.

The woman stumbled over a prayer that even I as an atheist have memorized even with the damn thing printed in front of her, looked terribly uncomfortable and likely had never read it before speaking it. If Trump were moderately intelligent he would allow her to stay inside as she obviously wants.

Or not worship at all if she chooses, that's fine. What's not fine is the cynical way Trump approaches Christianity and too many fall for it, the man is no more a Christian than Stalin was. I truly feel sorry for her for having to participate in it.
