    The lie was that he was going to impose tariffs unless he got some concessions. He got the concessions months ago.

    All he wanted was to try to look tough for his gullible base. I guess he knows them pretty well.

    Trump lies about everything including this because a deal was already in place. He backed off once clearer minds got hold of his ridiculous idea.

    Oh, you are correct. Mexico and Trump didn't really make any arrangement months ago. It's just my imagination. Again, fooled by a con-man.

    Sounds like there was a frame work but no action until our president acted. That’s great, that’s leadership

    This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone considering what the details of the agreement are. Also, for the record it is officials from both the US government and Mexican government who say this was already agreed on months ago

    What your spin piece fails to mention is that in reality there are visible benchmarks, and if Mexico was not meeting expectation then US action would be necessary. Whatever they agreed to is meaningless if they weren't following through. If you had evidence that Mexico was in full compliance to those agreements and Trump was acting for no reason whatsoever you have failed to produce that. All you have done is make it appear as though Mexico was not compliant in their previous agreements...
