Mexico Agreed to Take Border Actions Months Before Trump Announced Tariff Deal

I thought Trump's new deal with Mexico was gonna solve it? That's great news! No need to spend pointless money on a wall since Mexico is going to stop the flow. Thanks Mexico!

 

Actually, if you've been following the news the past few months, Mexico has been continuously taking new steps to stem migration in their country. In fact it was last February that Mexico's congress voted on deploying their national guard to patrol their borders. As for the specifics in the agreement with US officials, they still haven't been carried out, but Mexican officials have been planning these actions for months now

 

According to Trump fans, Mexico and US officials stating that are fake news. LOL

 

Nothing concrete has happened until this week when the Mexicans begged for a meeting with Trump.

 

Probably because they wanted to call him an idiot and to back off so they can do what they are planning.

 

If the wall is pointless way is Mexico needed?

So actually its another case of fake news being served up on tissue paper thin platter of "unnamed sources" because nothing in any of those paragraphs is verified. If NYGrimes was truly dedicated to the craft of journalism they would use FOIA to obtain communications logs and then we would have a foundation to build the facts on. But their goal isn't to inform its to manipulate and the type of people they aim to control are perfectly fine with "unnamed sources" claiming anything and everything anti-Trump.

 

Any unnamed source is more credible than trump.

 

It was completely predictable that radical Democrats would find any way imaginable to diminish this Trump accomplishment -- but -- even assuming that it may be true, one question, please -- WHY did it take the stinking, corrupt Mexican government so long to agree to cooperate if it was already agreed to months ago?

There may have been 'discussions' at one level or another, but it wasn't until Trump put their 'nuts in the pliers' that they woke wide-up and really FOCUSED on the issue.... But Democrats would rather drink carbolic acid than admit that Donald Trump had ever done anything right!
