Texans really need to stop eating so much meat. They are killing themselves. I have never seen so many ludicrously obese people than when I visited Houston. It was like a scene straight out of Wall-E.

You don't get fat because you eat beef you get fat because you eat more calories than your body uses. This is absolute basic nutrition.

The foods with the most calories are not beef it's sugary foods and foods rich in simple carbohydrates. Food products like potato chips sugary sodas, and other drinks.

 

All the foods you listed are foods that Texans eat in excess. Houston has a 60% obesity rate and a 75% obesity/overweight rate. Their kids have a 35% obesity rate.

 

Yeah that's due to high caloric intake. Foods extremely high in calories and little to no other nutrition, sugary drinks, highly processed foods which almost always contain lots of sugar.

Beef and other red meats are very high in calories. Texans eat too much of it along with sugary and processed foods. Beef isn't the whole problem but its part of the problem. The health risks of the overcomsumption of red meat are: diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and cancer.

 

You cant stop them from being infectious, but it certainly seems possible to limit spreading.. doesnt take God for that..

 

In order to limit spreading you either have to control the minds of people or control the virus itself so yes that would require a being with more power than a person.

 

It's called trust and intelligence, so you are essentially right.. No American president will possess the first from everybody and cannot expect the second from everybody.

no intelligence does nothing to stop an outbreak. Especially an outbreak a virus that in most people is asymptomatic. you would have to have more knowledge than any human you would have to be able to see in the future.
