I'm still paying 168 for internet and cable, cant bring myself to cut the cord. The day will come eventually.
I watch Nexflix now. No interruptions of reality at all which is why I like to watch TV in the first place. To escape for a while. I pick a series and watch it episode by episode night after night. MLB is so weird this year with no fans and the mega short season. Also with 50% of the teams making the playoffs, some with losing records it is meaningless until the playoff start to be honest. Still fun to watch but just meaningless. Throw in social issues on display and it’s just not that appealing this year.
I pay $17.99 for cable. $7.99 for Klowdtv. I installed a digital antenna in my attic, so I can get the broadcast network shows from Cleveland. I get my news on the web. It's possible since I use duck duck go for searches. Google has become worthless.
Instead of watching the tube, I have been "reading" audiobooks. With Libby / Overdrive I check out audiobooks from the library without leaving my office
Speaking of Netflix. "I'm sorry" has been fantastic, discovered it last week and I'm already 10 episodes in. Added bonus, it's about as politically incorrect as they come. good girls has been entertaining as well, and I'm on season 7 of Alone. Plenty of options, but I'm still stubborn about cable, I still really like it.
All these sports bending the knee to BLM (which is very similar to the KKK) is nonsense. But, the left is winning this culture war with propaganda...and that propaganda is strong lol.
WHO COULD HAVE SEEN THIS COMING? Ratings Crash for NBA, MLB After Protest-Filled Debuts. Baseball can’t blame the coronavirus. The virus didn’t stop people from watching Tom Brady golf with Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson back in May.
