I don't understand why different beliefs can't excuse with these people. A person either has to completely agree or they are a bigot. What happened to agreeing to disagree?

As far as Ellen goes, I don't know her show, I don't know who her viewers or sponsors are. That may play a role in why she cancelled, she could just be that sensitive about it.

The same thing is going on with the election. Some poeple just wanted Trump. It isn't because they hate anybody, they have a different opinion.

Yes I agree this left wing we have no has absolutely no tolerance for opposing opinion. It makes me wonder how far they'll get before the reasonable poeple push back.

Why wouldn't I dislike a hateful, bigoted and ignorant 'faith' group that blathers on about sin, talking bushes, flaming flying chariots, unicorns, ghosts impregnating women, levitation and other conjuring tricks? It's the most ridiculously absurd concoction of myths and fantasy since Lord of the Rings-which was a much better read and wasn't designed to be taken literally either.

So you don't care for the ideology, that's clear, do you hate the people that belong to it?

Express all the ignorance you like. Let the whole world know that you're a religious idiot who is a total hypocrite, that's fine. It's when the religious whackjobs start trying to legislate their fairy tales into law that I have a problem. Look at HB2 in NC for just an example.

I'll let a TRUE man of peace and non-violence answer:

My challenge to "christians" is simple: Nut up or shut up. Be the example Christ charged them to be, or admit their hypocrisy and accept their collective shame for the behavior of the self-righteous, self-serving, self-deluded hypocrites in their flock.

Why would you post Gandhi quotes after making it clear you absolutely despise Christian ideology? That makes you a hypocrite.

Further none of this horse(*)(*)(*)(*) answers what I asked.

Do you also hate Christian people. It's a simple yes or no.

You're wrong in your ASSumptions. I respect the Christ of the Beattitudes. I respect Christians who actually live by the Sermon on the Mount and demonstrate in their daily lives that they love others as they love themselves, and found the beam while ignoring the mote. I despise modern-day Pharisees who make a mockery of everything He taught, and claim to do it in His name. As a homosexual living in the buckle of the Bible Belt whose sig line seems to support equal rights and tolerance, I would think you of all people could appreciate and respect that.

    Am I wrong?

Tolerance is a two-way street. The homosexuals need to remember that people in the USA are protected by a Constitution to their religious beliefs, and it isn't "hate".

Jesus taught that marriage is a male and female. Do you respect that?

He also taught that if you break one of God's laws, you're guilty of breaking all of them. So, you're just as damned for eating a shrimp cocktail while wearing a poly blend after getting off work on Saturday as you would be for getting freaky with your same-sex lover.

Marriage was created before the law. Not part of the law of Moses.

So were murder, adultery, perjury, and stealing. God thought enough of them to include them in the Big Ten - you know, those big stone tablets of law HE PERSONALLY GAVE MOSES, didn't he? Your logic is faulty and shaky.

Marriage was also before the Ten Commandments. Read the Scripture in Matthew 19. In the beginning God made them male and female.....etc. Jesus was asked about divorce and gave the law of Moses, then said it was not supposed to be that way because in the beginning God made them male and female and for this reason a man shall leave his mother....etc. Marriage was a male and female before the law. Marriage was established by God as male and female before the law.

Yes, it does say marriage is a male and female. The Biblical definition of marriage is male and female. The world is sick.

In fact, He was only speaking about adultery and divorce, and the hypocritical stance those asking him the question were taking. I wonder what His response would be to Maxwell's logic? And given that One Man One Woman stance, what did He think of Solomon's 700 wives? These are the traps that await those who hypocritically cherry-pick which of God's "laws" they CHOOSE to follow.

Wrong. Yes, he was asked about divorce, then he gave the definition of marriage. It's right there for you to read. Look it up. Clear as can be.

which I refuted by pointing out nowhere in the referenced scripture passages is a definition given.
