OK....unless a woman has a .357 Magnum and is shooting at you....or if she sneaks up behind you and hit's you over the head with a shovel or stabs you in the back with a knife from behind.....besides these three exceptions....if a Woman is coming directly at a MAN with Shovel, Knife, Handgun....etc....I CANNOT CALL THIS PHYSICAL ASSAULT of a MAN by a WOMAN....because any MAN will be able to take those weapons right out of a woman's hand so fast they would never see it coming.

This does not cover a WOMAN coming at her Cheating Husband with a gun....as she intends to shoot his ass...and I stay out of personal issues.

As far as SEXUAL ASSAULT of a MAN by a WOMAN OR WOMEN??? HEY!!! SIGN ME UP!!! TAKE PICTURES!!!....MAKE ME WRITE BAD CHECKS!!!!

I will say this only once....IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR A WOMAN TO SEXUALLY ASSAULT A MAN!!!

I don't care if 10 women have a guy tied up and are video taping the entire event and there are Midgets and Dogs and Power Tools and everything and anything!!!

Sexual Assault on a MAN by a WOMAN is NOT POSSIBLE!!!

Hell...is such a thing happens to a GUY...remember such a thing costs about 100 LARGE in Vegas!!!

Physical assault is not justified by men or women, but keep in mind that physical assault by women is rare. Are you only interested in condemning the women's actions or are you interested in understanding why it occurred? Condemnation may make you feel all cozy and self-righteous, but understanding could lead to prevention of future occurrences.

There are multiple studies that have found physical assault by women is not rare, especially domestic violence perpetuated by women. In fact there are studies from peer reviwed scientific journals that have found domestic violence perpetrated by women is actually more commen than domestic violence perpetrated by men. For example:

Over 200 studies have found about the same percentage ofwomen
as men physically assault partners, and that the risk factors and
motivations are mostly the same as for men. Explanations are
suggested for why this fundamental fact has not been perceived by
the public and practitioners' including concealment and denial
by many academics who know the research. Explanations for
concealment and denial are also presented, with discussion ofthe
adverse effect that misperception and denial have had on prevention
and treatment programs, The practical implications of
recognizing gender symmetry in partner violence are discussed.

    Male Victims of Domestic Violence
    DonalD G. Dutton
    Katherine r. White

    Abstract
Intimate partner violence (IPV) or domestic violence (DV) is often framed as a “woman’s issue” or
“violence against women” generating the perception of males involved in violent relationships as the
aggressor and more capable of inflicting injury or causing harm to their partner. Due to this set of
beliefs called the “gender paradigm”, male victims are often met with disbelief or suspicion when
they attempt to gain protection from a female partner, or access services. Male victims may also report
difficulty in locating services specific to their needs, as help lines or shelters are targeted exclusively
towards female victims. These issues and the implications for male victims will be discussed.

    Conclusion
Both male victims and male perpetrators have a more difficult experience in the aftermath of IPV.
Male perpetrators receive harsher legal penalties, and are judged as more capable of inflicting injury
or instilling fear in their female partner. This is true even when they have been part of a bilateral IPV
pattern. Male victims also fare worse when attempting to access services, as males are more likely to
be labelled the aggressor and to be treated with suspicion and injuries they have sustained are likely
to be minimized. Custody assessments are misdirected, focusing on the male as the sole source of
threat to children for physical abuse. A major revision of our thinking is required, one that is empirically
based and can to alter an emotionally tinged stereotype

Dominance and symmetry in partner violence by male and female university students in 32 nations
    Murray A. Straus
Family Research Laboratory, University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH 03824, United States

    Abstract
The study investigated the widely held beliefs that physical violence against partners (PV) in marital, cohabiting, and dating
relationships is almost entirely perpetrated by men, and that the major risk factor for PV is male dominance in the relationship. The
empirical data on these issues were provided by 13,601 university students in 32 nations who participated in the International
Dating Violence Study. The results in the first part of this paper show that almost one-third of the female as well as male students
physically assaulted a dating partner in the previous 12 months, and that the most frequent pattern was bidirectional, i.e., both were
violent, followed by “female-only” violence. Violence by only the male partner was the least frequent pattern according to both
male and female participants. The second part of the article focuses on whether there is gender symmetry in a crucial aspect of the
etiology of partner PV — dominance by one partner. The results show that dominance by either the male or the female partner is
associated with an increased probability of violence. These results, in combination with results from many other studies, call into
question the assumption that PV is primarily a male crime and that, when women are violent, it is usually in self-defense. Because
these assumptions are crucial elements in almost all partner PV prevention and treatment programs, a fundamental revision is
needed to bring these programs into alignment with the empirical data. Prevention and treatment of PV could become more
effective if the programs recognize that most PV is bidirectional and act on the high rate of perpetration by women and the fact that
dominance by the female partner is as strongly related to PV as dominance by the male partner.

    Hit like a Girl:
    Women Who Batter Their Partners
    Theresa Porter

    Abstract
Domestic violence by women represents a blind spot for western society. Since 1977, multiple
large scale international studies have demonstrated the women can and do beat, batter and murder
their male and female intimate partners at a rate equal to or higher than that of man, yet this issue
is not simply ignored but denied by society at large. Women’s use of domestic violence is
misrepresented by the media and denied by feminists, both of whom find the topic threatening.
Despite this gender symmetry in domestic violence, media representations display male
perpetrators 10 times more often than they display female perpetrators and when it is displayed, it
is usually shown as humorous. For the media and the society it caters to, domestically violent
women represent a failure of social control; women are not behaving in the expected manner. For
feminists, domestically violent women threaten the victim paradigm upon which much of Second
Wave feminist was based. This paper will examine the prevalence of domestic violence by women
against their intimate partners, explore the societal myths and gender dogma that both hides and
perpetuates this form of violence by women.

    1. Introduction

    2. Denial and misrepresentation in research

Yet if one were to ask most people, they would deny awareness of the extent of women’s
domestic violence in western culture. This is in part due to the denial and misrepresentation of the
issue by several groups, including Second Generation feminists, researchers and the media.
The discourse on gender symmetry in intimate partner violence by Second Generation
feminists often involves claims that women’s violence is less injurious than men’s violence, as if
this is a relevant issue. No one should be subjected to abuse, regardless of their physical strength.
This argument also ignores the women victims in violent lesbian relationships, where the
difference in body strength can be supposed to be less pronounced. Finally, it is important to recall
that women compensate for any discrepancy in size by using weapons more often than do men12.

    3. Denial and misrepresentation in media and society

    4. Consequences

[...] Ultimately, all violence is complex and multi-determined with individual, social and cultural
factors47. Women’s intimate partner violence occurs in the context of a significant double standard
about violence and gender, with women’s violence seen as funny or unimportant, or simply not
seen at all. It is somehow always circumstantial and beyond women’s control. It is time to move
beyond simplistic, dichotomous thinking and biased research and recognize all types of intimate
violence in order to stop it

So, in other words, you believe those women who sexually and physically assaulted those men peacefully and passively protecting a church should get what they want to prevent them from physically and sexually assaulting peaceful and passive people in the future???

It all depends upon what a person believes a SEXIST to be.

I am a SEXIST in the same way I am a REALIST.

I believe MEN AND WOMEN have to come to terms with the FACT....that in some cases WOMEN ARE BETTER OR EVOLVED BETTER FOR A SPECIFIC JOB OR TASK.....and the same thing with MEN.

Let's face it....let's say a strong woman came and applied for a Road Paving Job and although she could easily get her license and drive a Grader or Dump Truck...such jobs are given to employees who have worked themselves up to that position as at first everyone usually comes in on the ground level because a person must know how easy or difficult it is to either do something by hand or use a machine.

So....a strong woman applies and she shows she can handle using a shovel and throw macadam around to fill unlevel holes and she does fine....till about 2 pm and work ends at 3.

But at 2 pm she is too tired to continue as LIKE IT OR NOT....even the strongest woman is going to start slowing down faster than a man doing the same job as long as the man is at least of average strength.

So....this company hires people to learn everything from shoveling to putting in curbing and sidewalks and it is policy that no one runs a grader or dump truck or loader unless they worked their way up or have many years experience and were hired from another company for more money to replace a position in their company as there is no one yet who has their licensing to run the grader.

The woman asks if SHE can have the position and the boss say's...No....but I will hire you to work in the office and it pays better than shoveling.

The woman get's angry but the boss explains....even if you have your license there is a LOT to know about paving and that is why guy's have to learn all jobs FIRST before they can get such a job....and because you physically cannot keep up with the men all day even if you are great for the most of the day....how are you going to feel after we have to travel down south to do a highway and we need people to do double shifts?

On the other hand we have a MAN....who has studied to be a GREETER for a Large U.S. Corporation and his job is to greet people coming from Japan, China and Italy as they do business with this large U.S. Corp. and this man knows all those languages and is very well studied on every aspect of this U.S. Corps. assets.

The JOB pays 200,000 a year and the person who takes this job must be on call 24/7 365 days a year.

This man and a woman of equal skill are both tried out against the same customers being Japanese, Chinese and Italian and after they work with all three for a MONTH....HR goes and asks a few questions of their clients explaining that only ONE of these two people will get the job and that HR wants to know WHICH ONE EITHER THE MAN OR WOMAN is preferred....after all the JOB is by design a job made to RELAX these people and allow them to conduct business stress free and friendly.

All three....Japanese, Chinese and Italian customers chose the WOMAN.

HR asks some specific questions to determine WHY and after HR asks...is it because one was better at the job because one had more knowledge at their finger tips or was one more trustworthy or was one more helpful?

All three customers said....No...both were very good and equal at doing their job.

HR asks...So why did you pick Gina the female?

All three customers reply....HONESTLY? I picked Gina because I ENJOY LOOKING AT A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN!

I enjoy being able to carry on a conversation with a beautiful but extremely intelligent woman.

I enjoy just being in the SAME ROOM AS HER....and just to THINK of Gina makes me want to visit here more and buy things from you!

    Answer....OBVIOUS!

There was a show on MTV called 'True Life.' In one episode, it featured a man who dressed as a woman. He was asked why he liked looking like a woman and he said 'being a woman is better because women get all the good jobs."

    COME ON!!!!!

Any MAN who has a woman attempting to or actually physically and emotionally harming them....DESERVES IT!!!

This issue is very close to the same thing as how DODGE BALL was banned as being a sport played in the school yard and in the school Gym.

Because some WHINING AND PATHETIC WIMP went and said....DODGE BALL IS COUNTER PRODUCTIVE TO CHILD DEVELOPMENT!!!

We can't have kids going through the horrific trauma of having a harmless rubber ball thrown at them and because they have SELF ESTEEM ISSUES because they eat 30 Twinky's a DAY to help overcome the EMOTIONAL DISTRESS of being one of the last kids in Gym Class to run into the school when recess is over....BECAUSE THEY ARE 180 LBS AT THE AGE OF 10 YEARS OLD....and because of their weight and size they are an EASY TARGET and get picked of early in a DODGE BALL GAME....thus having to ENDURE THE SHAME....of having to wait a lousy 4 minutes until the game is done so they can join again!!!

Let me tell you....if this was 6 thousand years ago....that chubby kid would end up as SUPPER for a Lion or Tiger or Croc.....as that is what NATURAL SELECTION AND SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST IS ALL ABOUT!!!

It weeds out the Human Traits that are not conductive to survival as the SICK, SLOW, FAT, DISEASED AND STUPID....end up being removed from the Gene Pool thus they don't have kids to pass down such poor traits and only the STRONG REPRODUCE.

Let's face it....the STUPID kid with a pair of TWEEZERS that sticks them into a power receptacle or decides to take a BATH and brings a PLUGGED INTO THE WALL LOW ON POWER CELL PHONE WITH HIM OR HER INTO THE TUB.....AS FAR AS NATURE IS CONCERNED...DESERVES TO DIE!!!

We are coddling our KIDS far two much and this thing where kids play Baseball or Soccer or Volleyball...etc....and when they ask their teachers what is the score and who is winning....their Teacher answers....OH...WE DON'T KEEP SCORE....ALL OF YOU ARE IMPORTANT WINNERS!!!

Flash forward 10 to 14 years and that same kids BOSS enters the room and say's...."WHO WAS THE IDIOT THAT GAVE A LETTER TO THE HUDSON ACCOUNT CEO THAT SAID IN THE LETTER AND I QUOTE...."Mr. Hudson we would just like you to know although our proposal is 15% more than our competitor....and even though our company has 15 years less experience doing the job you ask us to bid upon....I just want you to know that even if you do not pick us to do the job....THERE ARE NO LOSERS AS WE ARE ALL WINNERS AS KEEPING TRACK OF THE SCORE OR IN THIS CASE THE AMOUNT OF MONEY WE MAKE DOESN'T MATTER.

BUT WHAT DOES MATTER IS THE SMILE ON YOUR FACE AND OURS KNOWING THAT YOU CAN ALWAYS COUNT ON US TO BE TRUTHFUL AND TELL YOU WHAT OTHER FIRM BESIDES OURS IS BETTER AT DOING ANY JOB YOU NEED DONE!""

This seems to be a belief shared by many feminists, not just yourself Above Alpha. In fact, I believe this is what OKgrannie and Gwendoline are saying, among some others on this site.

Well....that depends as there are women who are paid very well because of their combination of ability and knowledge along with LOOKS.

Then there are women not so gifted mopping bathrooms at Fast Food restaurants.

I look at it this way....EQUAL PAY FOR EQUAL JOB....as long as the person has the ability.

And for both men and women their sex will allow them PERKS for certain jobs.

I KNOW...for certain that I was chosen when I was a kid over 2 women to be an Ocean Life Guard for the summer because of my looks and body.

They already had a multitude of women life guards but they needed 2 other men as you have to be able to get on a surf board which is heavy and long in order to carry more than one person in distress....and I could get out quicker than anyone.

Still...this ocean beach community PURPOSELY HIRED EXTREMELY HOT FEMALE LIFE GUARDS as this caused all sorts of guy's to come to this smaller stretch of beach rather than to go to the State Beach and this smaller stretch of beach had clubs and decks ocean side serving drinks and food.

They gave us Bright Orange Shorts which looked more like SPEEDO's and I HATED wearing the damn things and as I was young and there would ALWAYS be a large number of pretty girls teasing us atop the white high Life Guard Chairs.....when it got really hot we would jump in the ocean to cool off and these damn Speedo's when wet became almost TRANSPARENT!!!

They did NOT have a built in mesh jock and I am large and when I and my buddy would take turns jumping in even though I had a POUND of ZINC OXIDE on the top of my nose....the girls would FLOCK to us and check us out as these damn shorts let them see everything.

Now...I didn't mind that all that much but I could tell it was making some guy's EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE watching the girls they took to the beach with them come and talk to me and my partner.

I understand COMPLETELY what it is like for that to happen to a guy and I thought the girls were wrong to do it...but then again for all the girls checking us out...MULTIPLY THAT TIMES 10 for the number of guy's checking out the HOT FEMALE LIFE GUARDS!!

This was like BAYWATCH before BAYWATCH even existed!!! LOL!!!

But those female life guards were a BOOM for the bars and community so I understand how such women are entitled to higher pay as I found out that I was only the 3rd highest pain person even though I was the most qualified.

    It went

    #1 and #2...Females...Highest Paid.

    #3 ME....Paid 10% less than #1 and #2.

    #4-#10 All Female....paid a bit less than I.

    #11 Male....Paid 30% less than #1.

    #12 Female...Part Time...EXTREMELY HOT....paid 15% less than Full Time Working #11 Male.

I am NOT saying they deserve it simply because they are male or because they did something wrong.

I am saying...THEY DESERVE IT....BECAUSE THEY ALLOW IT TO HAPPEN!!!

I have had a woman attack me irrationally and this has happened several times with different girls after I told them I had to leave as I was going on a JOB and even though I had been up front about this right from the beginning....when they asked how long I would be gone...I TOLD THEM THE TRUTH...I DON'T KNOW!

Next thing I know I have 100 lbs of female swiping and punching and scratching and biting me....and here is the thing....WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?

Hit her? Noooo! I might KILL HER.

Put her in a body lock? As I told Taikoo....I tried this hoping if I held her she would calm down...LOL!! NOPE!!!

Just made her more crazy as she acted calm only so she could be released and attack me again! LOL!!

So....I just walk away....as that is all I can do as I certainly don't EVER want to harm a woman no matter how crazy she is acting.

When my MOM used to get really mad at me she at first would try to slap me...then one day she broke a bone in her hand doing this.

After that MOM opted for WEAPONS! LOL!! A fork, knife, spatula....and one day she smacked me across my back with a Teflon frying pan.

She broke her wrist doing it.

After that she stopped the hitting.

So you are a sexist and you gave me other examples where people are sexists , not nice.

Also mr Realist do you know what sexual dimorphism is ? i bet you do and i bet you also know that throughout our evolution it is vanishing .
There are women working in manual labor jobs i could never do as there are many female bosses who do not have male secretaries so they can "look on them:.

Oh and i HATE working with women.

You need to better back up and 'explain' your links. Because the plethora of statistics and data do not support your claims. One of the studies you posted one time didn't factor in sexual and the more violent physical abuse of which domestic violence unfortunately comprises. So that was incredibly disingenuous. Domestic violence is a tragic, serious crime and women are dying from domestic violence being perpetrated on them.

You are confusing my love and natural attraction to women as being SEXIST.

I advocate equal pay for equal capability no matter what sex a person is.

At the same time there are instances whether you want to admit it or not....where a persons sex is a necessary component to their JOB DESCRIPTION.

Now....a Strip Club has Boy's and Girl's nights.

When women are dancing...and strippers make a LOT of money....the majority of customers are men but there are women as well who come.

When men are dancing basically the same but a bit more men in the audience compared to the number of women who go when women are dancing.

I and Sky sometimes go to a Strip Club and I particularly like a place in Miami called the GOLD MINE.

Now there are always going to be some people that view Strip Clubs a SEXIST job but for those who dance it is excellent pay and such higher end establishments understand never to allow Drugs and Prostitution to interfere with a perfectly legitimate money making machine.

Now as far as sexual dimorphism it can be specific to comparison of difference of size or appearance of the sexual traits or sexual organs of the male and female....and this can even be carried as far as direct comparison of the sexual organs of two males and how the smaller compares to the female sexual organs.

Why you are bringing this up I have no idea.

As far as there being women doing jobs that men cannot specific to assembly lines....absolutely.

There are many jobs women are more capable of doing as men and women are different in many ways but they also have many similar traits.

If what they want is equal opportunity, they should get what they want. If the lack of equal opportunity is what enraged those women, their rage is understandable. Not excuseable, but understandable. A lack of basic fairness tends to enrage people, and creating conditions that leads to enraged people is not something that should be tolerated. If the law itself creates a disruption of society's order, the law is wrong; the purpose of law is to maintain order.

I find it telling that when a member is encountered by a Male Member who proudly calls himself a Feminist it just throws the other member for such a loop their replies tend to concentrate upon the ideology....if you can't argue the Logic....discredit the source! LOL!!

Such side stepping methods run rampant upon this forum specifically in topics specific to religion, equal rights, feminism, the reality of evolution and how if one religions icons could be placed in a state or federal building then all religions must be allowed to place their icons and THAT is why it is not allowed.

Anyways....in all those topics I just mentioned there exists a SINGLE CONNECTING THREAD which all have running through them and that thread is Ultra-Religious Christian Ideology.

It works in all of them....Women in the home cooking and pregnant....Male dominant business practices of better pay for men and less pay for women and immigrants and blacks....and expressing OUTRAGE over the Feds. removing a relief of the Ten Commandments....but yet at the same time these same people were also outraged at the suggestion that other religions could place their icons there as well.

It is apparent that such people are only interested in promoting their ideology and beliefs while attempting to curtail the rights and beliefs of others.

Are you suggesting I create a poll because I would like to create a poll asking all the administrators and moderators on this sit if they're feminists. Is that possible???

You can create a poll, but there's no obligation for mods or admins to answer. Why do you want to know?

Female on male domestic violence is under-reported, and when someone tries to report female on male domestic violence often times it's not taken seriously:

From the Journal of Aggression, Conflict and Peace Research

“This drop in IPV against females and steady rate of violence against males raises an interesting policy question. There are many thousands of support programs, web sites and public-interest media items for female victims of domestic violence (DV), and virtually no programs and only a handful of web sites in the USA for male victims. Perhaps these programs and public education efforts have resulted in males, but not females, getting the message that DV is wrong.”

“…those that are the core of the DV service system: DV agencies, DV hotlines, and the police. On the one hand, about 25% of men who sought help from DV hotlines were connected with resources that were helpful. On the other hand, nearly 67% of men reported that these DV agencies and hotline were not at all helpful. Many reported being turned away. The qualitative accounts in our research tell a story of male helpseekers who are often doubted, ridiculed, and given false information.”

In 41.5 percent of the cases where men called the police, the police asked if he wanted his partner arrested; in 21 percent the police refused to arrest the partner, and in 38.7 percent the police said there was nothing they could do and left

Women experiencing domestic violence is heavily underreported.

Your study didn't include rape and sexual assault. It didn't include violent abuse but it did include 'name calling'. Seriously, what a crock.

Mods and admins don't control what is posted other than removing insults, graphic material, etc. So long as posters remain respectful they post whatever they choose, and they choose to post a wide variety of opinions.

I seriously doubt women experiencing domestic violence is as underreported as men experiencing violence perpetrated by women.

    What name calling???
