We did until the INF Treaty ordered their destruction. Ground launched cruise missiles with 1500 mile ranges deployed in the U.K. Belgium, and Italy (Sicily IIRC) 464 of them.

I assume that if the U.S. really wanted to build and deploy them again a quarter a century later it would not be difficult.

So whining that the "ABM sites could launch Tomahawk cruise missiles" is a pretty lame thing to complain about.

Prove that we had a truck mounted system that can launch tomahawks. I wonder if US would say the same thing if Russia had such a system on their borders. A site that can be easily equipped with cruise missile.

    But not Russian targets.

Why the hell do you need truck mounted Tomahawks? When you can launch ALCM from B-52?

As said, one ship in Atlantic will put most of Russia in range and all of Europe. The US won't launch on Russia, either way.

    Sure:

    - 1991 Repeated Violations of the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty
    - Chemical Weapons Convention and the Biological Weapons Convention
    - Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances
    - It repudiated the Helsinki Pact of 1975
    - Presidential Nuclear Initiatives violations

    ...

And how is that relevant? A Southern state suing the federal government isn't new. It's the norm. It doesn't mean it has legal ground. They usually don't.

    Happy?

    Also note

GLCM was developed as a ground-launched variant of the Tomahawk missile in use by the U.S. Navy

This contrasted sharply with Pershing II, which had a flight time of 10–15 minutes. However, the range of the GLCM gave it the ability to strike deep within then-Soviet territory, and the missile guidance, and low radar cross-section would have made it far more difficult to intercept a GLCM even if the launch were detected in time.

    What is it expressed? Examples?

    the examples are there?

This is an allusion to the fact that Russia is fighting in the Donbass? Try to prove this fact. So far no one has succeeded. Special

And this is what? Warsaw Pact does not exist anymore.

Examples of such applications will be? In this topic, such examples lead and could not.

I do not see here confirmed your statement. Give specific examples of violations of specific violations.

I believe that after the break up of the Soviet Union...

That in return for Ukraine surrendering it's nuclear missiles to Russia, UK,US and Russia all signed a treaty to insure the territorial integrity of the Ukraine.

And that Russia's annexing of Crimea has broken that treaty .
That is what they teach me on TV in the UK.

    So response = sanctions.

There is one hitch. These sanctions unite Russian people and raised the rating of Putin to unprecedented heights.
