Bank robbery is a violent crime, this is trespassing. We don't separate kids from their families because mommy ran a stop sign. You can't just call people criminals and expect us to forget that all crime isn't equal. J-walking is a crime it shouldn't get your kids snatched from you.

These immigrants come from impoverished, violent countries. That's what's wrong with them and all they are doing is seeking a better life for their families. That is all. Now I happen to think we should show some compassion and more importantly understanding for how some of our policies, namely the war on drugs, has exacerbated the spread of violence in these countries but that's me. If you don't feel the same way and want them deported I disagree with you but fine. Deport them. Why also the need to terrorize them with separation from their families? If someone comes knocking on your door in the middle of the night desperate, cold and starving and you don't want to help you send them on their way, you don't kidnap their children and threaten them with the force of law for what amounts to trespassing. That isn't right. I'm an atheist and even I know that isn't Christian. There is something wrong with the Republican party. You all are not just morally wrong, you're deliberately cruel. You're disgusting and how dare you try to pretend that this display of cruelty is true to Christian or American values.

 

When your intent is to steal that better life by criminal means, you leave the kids with granny, and explain that you see someone else has something you want and you are going to take it. Otherwise, you make your kids criminals too.

Just like someone deciding they like your car and they don't have a car, so they help themselves to yours. Just seeking a better life of course. Could be they move into your house too while you are on vacation, knowing you aren't smart enough to take care of your own property and therefore, by your default, your permission is not necessary. Should they take their kids along? Why not? Many of them bring their own drugs too so they can get enough money to get started.
